I love, too, that Marvel does have a One God. THE creator god. And it really is above all else. Despite there being gods of war, nature, wisdom, strength, and destruction and multiversal avatars of madness, hunger, and ruin and devils and demons, they all know one thing. That they were all created by something. That all they strive for, all they build and learn from, all they destroy and claim. All of reality and everything it contains are things they didn't create. All that is is someone else's sandbox.

This is a good story, but is kinda meaningless because Thor for sure would have the answer since he is alive before Jesus were born and also the fact that he know that "Death" is a sentient being and that there is a ton of "after life realms". To be fair Christianity wouldn't be believable in comics universe since there is other gods that prove they are real, and there is one god that is above all and is not the christian one. But Thor could have done this to not break the man, because after a whole life of blindness some people can't handle the light.

No matter how powerful a creature in marvel is, there always seems to be something greater in a realm above. Some universes it’s the actual writers, in others it is unexplained just what lies beyond.

So, is Thor an actual God within the MCU or is it just a title he's been given? I thought with his "ask me again tomorrow" prompting, he was implying that the priest would go to some mixed-religion afterlife and get to literally ask Thor again whilst there literally the next day? With Norse mythology being true and seeing some people make reference to Ghost Rider too, I'm lead to believe the Christian God exists in the MCU?

I like the concept of Hulk and Banner hating each other, but still holding a deep respect for each other. Like that one colleague you don't like, but they're useful enough that you tolerate them. However, you'd never tell that person that you think they're useful because you don't want them getting ideas.

Actually She Hulk reputation was tainted by Frail Males. In simple terms its called Bias, those with a higher IQ its called Conditional Emotional Response. If the MCU tried to do a scene like this, they would have ruined it by putting in some joke with Thor like "Well, I'm a God, the God of Thunder. Maybe your faith should be in me" or they would have made the priest's personality aggressive towards Thor, treating him like a demon or something like that. A conversation with this topic would have to be done in an interesting and deep way, just like in this story. It doesn't have to be a funny conversation full of jokes, it doesn't have to present the "sides" like villain and hero, just as it doesn't have to give an answer. There's no need to have Thor lying to the priest and telling him what he wanted to hear just to comfort him in his last moments. Just like Thor himself said, he doesn't have the answers, so he couldn't give the priest certainty about the God of his faith. That way, the subject would end up with more questions than answers, without being sure whether God exists in Marvel or not.

Also, if the administration of the Archdiocese of New York knew about Matthew's past as a civilian defense attorney, his combination of a regular law degree (J.D.) and any kind of graduate degree in Sacred Theology or Canon Law would put him on the "fast track" to becoming a bishop. Marvel Comics should have done better research before making Daredevil a Catholic priest.
