    I will not b voting yes !!!! My vote is No. I am not against aboriginal. People I lived in Mount Isa and I had a business in Redfern so I’m not a racist person at all. My first boyfriend was an aborigine so I am not a racist at all but I will be voting no. I cannot understand these aborigine people that go against the white people whose either mother is white and their father Black or their mother Black and their father white so I think we should all unite and by voting Yes you are not uniting us. You are dividing us you’re putting us against each other when we should be coming together. I think this whole thing is ridiculous and I think it should never of been brought up. I think it has to be rethought and people have to sit down and talk about it not be like this Albo and push it through because he thinks it’s going to be his big claim to fame. I will be voting no!!!! It’s a land grab and will divide us. White against black. Black against white. We are ONE !!!!!!!! Look at New Zealand. There was White people there with red hair. Before the New Zealand People, but they got rid of them all and now it’s their country. We didn’t get rid of our first people we learn to live with them and that’s what we should be doing now living together!!!!! As One. One county one nation one Living together as ONE !!!!!

    For a teacher,carrer education in primary school might not be a good job,because few schools would hire someone to do this.

    • @pigironjoe

    • @vonangelodadapan3721
      @vonangelodadapan3721 2 роки тому

      Another concern, you have said in the criticisms part is that it ignores contextual barriers. The contextual influence proximal to choice, encompasses everything. So you can't say that it ignores such barriers

    Career Development is indeed influenced by career guidance and social justice. From the beginning of time individuals have struggled with differences in gender, race, culture, religion and beliefs. Globalization, advancing technologies, changes in demographics and most recently Covid-19 have accelerated changes that have been on the horizon for many years. These changes impact individuals, families, employers and unions... Knowledge is power - to be successful with your vision and goals you need to know yourself and the labour market or world of work that you aspire to participate in. Career Professionals in partnership with training providers and employers can reduce barriers to vulnerable individuals by providing good quality career advice and as individuals we need to manage our careers (paid and unpaid opportunities). Thank you Tristram and Raza for creating the forum. Thank you to the panelists for sharing their perspectives - very valuable.

    Hey! Question: so the OECD definition of career guidance is about the educational and occupational choices we take to manage our “careers” but do you think the OECD defines careers the same way you do, that they also think it’s about all the things that make up our life and how we combine them? You say it’s not just about work (or education) to them, but how do you know that?

    Thank you, Tristram. It's always good to go back to core principles, and I appreciated your exposition of the complexity of fit in career guidance, that one shape doesn't fit all. I wasn't aware of the Holland RIASEC test, which I have just completed - an interesting and useful counterpoint to other forms of profiling.

      I find career theories very interesting, especially the matching trait theory - perhaps one still can get insights from doing the test- regardless of the field of work, and maybe change doing the job from a more organized or creative or helping point of view, as you mentioned. Would the test be recommended by career advisers nowadays? Thank you!
