Innes Chonnel Castle
Innes Chonnel Castle, also known as Ardchonnel Castle, is a ruined 13th-century castle located on Innis Chonnell, an island on Loch Awe near Dalavich, Argyll and Bute, Scotland.
The castle dates back to the 11th Century and belonged to the chief of Clan Campbell. It is said that the saying "It's a far cry to Lochow" came from here since they often launched attacks from this island.
The castle has a complex plan with several periods of buildings, and it was the chief stronghold of the Campbells. It was one of the earliest Campbell strongholds, certainly from as early as 1308 until the present day.

It was gross, I took my husband there for his 50 birthday,. I was so disappointed, it was dirty and outdated. I had to clean it myself, the maid helped even though she thought I WAS HELPING HER. I made my husband leave for an hour while I did what needed to be done to make the best out of the three days.
That mess look dingy and dated. Look sleezy and I cannot believe it look the EXACT same way as it did when my mom used to get the brochures in the mail back in the 70s/80s. If y'all think this is luxury, u need to get out more.

It all depends on where you launch from :) Realistically an hour max... it took us longer but we went via Jetski and did a ton zipping around before we went to the dome homes.

Paradise stream is not abandoned it is still up and running. all three of Cove Pocono resorts are still running strong they only sold one and that was Brookdale which is now some sort of a rehabilitation place.
Pocono Palace has shut down, Paradise Stream and Cove Haven are still running.

Poconos is not closed. My wife and I all a Lakehouse in the Poconos as a vacation getaway. Also, we stayed in one of these types of rooms unbeknownst to us it was considered a “upgrade“. We rented the room prior to our ownership of our Lakehouse when we went several years ago to Pocono raceway to see a NASCAR event. Quite honestly these rooms are nothing more than a fire trap! The Poconos is open but other than the nice lakes and scenery you wouldn’t know it.
I came here after watching a urban explorer video with a similar hotel but abandoned.
So did I, and the dates are confusing me!
So..... Is this open now
