Since the comments are off the eight grade episode I'll comment here. Oh my god do i love that film! and yes you did the GUCCI at the end 🤣. Also was a big fan of the score. Can't wait to see it in IMAX in march the composer is going to be doing the soundtrack live while the movie plays! Such a real film reminded me a lot of the show PEN15. Also finally got the baby girl postcard!

The acting is brilliant. And the direction is brilliant. And the screenplay is beyond brilliant. After recommending it to my sister, my sister said, "it was so weird, it made me nauseas." Which think is a valid reaction to this movie. it's in my top 5 films of all time.

Really like this movie! The ending was so sad! I'm going to look into the story further, very moving. I did appreciate the dialogue. They really connected over art.

I love this movie so much! It's so weird I never felt that stressed while watching it just more frustrated. The ending made me so pleased. His brother is finally being enrolled into a unit where he will be taken care of. Especially during the credits with him going back and forth. Having a voice even if it's nonverbal. he still has some independence in that scene over his emotions. He wasn't freaked out like he was with connie, he was calm. Connie was in my opinion the worst thing for him. Taking him out of that unit, his only reach to communicate his emotions with another person. Terrible. Bringing him into robberies. The scene in jail really moved me emotionally. Seeing an individual obviously with a learning disability thrown into a loud, busy, violent cell. Just awful. Connie doing what he beliefs is right but in the end his spontaneous and erratic decisions lead him to the cops and made him take the wrong person from the hospital. I was so happy to see him in that cop car. The victim at peace and what I belief to be the criminal at bay.

Been holding off watching this movie for a while. Not at ALL what I was expecting. I weirdly liked it. Most of the time i was just like “what the hell am i watching?” But at the end I was satisfied. Can’t wait for the next reaction, Hereditary i believe? That one is absolutely crazy.

Finally! I’m so happy you liked it! Oh my gosh I love this movie. Logan lerman is great and Elle fanning is just wondrous. I always liked how she starts as a bit manic pixie but grows up into an actual real person. Margaret qualley is a great actress too and should hopefully be getting greater roles after the substance.
