yea, its an intermediate step you get used to how it feels to do it w hands up while still maintaining contact w the low hand so you know you're practicing the correct movement once its dialed in and your body recognizes the feel of the movement, you remove the reference point and start doing it w both hands up

@jeffreyopoku-darko2830 OK I will try it,I've taken up boxing training in my 50s to keep fit and I wish I'd done it a long time ago.

I respectfully disagree I think it should have gone Bivols way but I’m. Not outraged by the cards I think these 2 could end up with a trilogy

@@SEIKOAE86 a rematch at least. I watched it 3x and Artur slightly edges it for more activity, pressure and punches landed. Bivol did well and landed some great shots but nowhere near same output. This is what I mean though, was close but in no way a robbery so cant be mad at results, even if it was a draw I'd be happy

@@h.a2885 always some muppets on a boxing page. Bivols landed more and threw less, work rate is not a factor when scoring a fight if it’s not landing and it actually is a negative in this case as it shows how ineffective his pressure and work rate was only landing around 20% of his punches, Bivol landed the cleaner sharper shots and negated Beterbievs pressure with excellent footwork never allowing him to trap him in the corner or on the ropes for any sustained period. It’s not a highway robbery at all but most professionals at ring side had it Bivol or a draw so at a minimum the polish judge scorecard was ridiculous

Ring control is a big factor in scoring, beterbiev threw a lot of punches because he can afford to, he is better conditioned than bivol, judges won't score him any less for landing a lower percentage of his punches, he had dominance in the later rounds and more ring control. Bivol was not throwing combos in the later rounds, but instead kept a high guard and circled/ran from beterbiev. People and casuals like urself ignore the fact that pro boxing is scored more on damage and control. Artur was backing him up, and clearly hurt him to the body which made him take a vacation on different rounds. Artur was the aggressor and pushed the pace of the fight whilst bivol shelled up almost, but somehow you think Bivol won, what do you think would've happened if they fought 2 more rounds?
