I have epilepsy and my parents told me that your brain is still set on what you’re doing before actually having a seizure. They recorded me which was really embarrassing (for me at least I mean I don’t want to see what I don’t want to have) and I did the same thing before they called my name, I wasn’t answering, I paused they pulled me away and they lied me on my side when I had a seizure for 1 minute I didn’t know who my parents were before saying it. At least thats what I saw on the video. When I seize, Im *gone* . I don’t know what happened it’s a full blackout for me. But my brain is still functioning/seizing.

correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't you be there to help in case she falls instead of just filming? again I might be wrong

As a person who suffers with myoclonic seizures, i can honestly say... It really sucks to have and its VERY painful when you're having them... I really hope you get treatment for your seizures 🫶

Ok what you call twitching a seizure if you have a seizure you dont move until you fall over then begin shaking violently ypu must get someone to punch you in your stomach to help you breathe to soothe the seizure and live life

I take baclofen twice a day and it helps my spasms so much. Methocarbamol has been really helpful in the past as well. I'm on ivig as well. I hope you're doing better!

My dad had just experienced this last month, we were both at my school just going to an open house meeting to see my teachers. We started walking to one of my classrooms but we couldn’t find it. We went to the janitor to see if she could lead us there. That’s when the seizure began, he was about to ask and then he froze, couldn’t speak, couldn’t hear, and couldn’t move. It scared me to death and the janitor thought he was having a heart attack. Luckily he seems to be doing a lot better now that he is on meds.

I had a seizure and then i stood up and i was slowly moving like an unflexible robot AND i was using all my strength to stop myself from hurting myself when i was alone then my hero lil bro named ryan came and helped and now i know how it feels your unconscious for a short amount of time and vibrating and you will see no dreams your just in a void seeing nothing not even yourself and after a minute or 30 seconds you will wake up but still suffer from it so you can control yourself and attempt to protect yourself and stop the seizure from controlling you if your dumb enough to just do your own thing while suffering the seizure will hurt you more and make your body lose more control so seek help and fight of the seizure if you regain concicness and also when i had concicness but woke up then i tried walking up my big bro and my big bro said stop being drunk and then walked away and my lil bro saw me when he went to the kitchen for food and helped me

I experienced my younger uncle having a seizure. While he was showing me his Ninja Turtles toys. I originally thought it was a joke (I was 7-8) and he was just laying on his chair eyes closed completely shut down for 2 minutes. I started to cry then went to my mum and nanny and showed them. After maybe 5 minutes an ambulance came and saved my uncle. It was a horrible day

Waking up from a seizure is so scary and confusing. Especially if you’re alone.

Wait a minute this happens to me too. I noticed things have changed a little since I don't fall to ground and shake up. My head tilted up and down like this too.

It was probably because I saw her head snap into place while she was looking down, and that probably made her kind of dizzy. Also, I heard a pop sound exactly when her head snapped into place. All of this is just my evidence

as a person with epilepsy i have these as well mine start off as a staring seizure then i get up and roam around and i got lost in a airport once because of it. i also have jerking seizures in my sleep and i had one so bad once that my foot knocked a hole in the wall

The fidgeting at the beginning stages of a myoclonic seizure kinda seem like the brain running a few automatic settings before freezing up and needing a hard reboot

Kitchens and bathrooms for me are the most dangerous when I have seizures, one time I cut my legs up with razors as I fitted and a had disposable razors in the bathtub … Yeahh
