That bending thing you do at the end in the very first note is spot-on
Cheers
Is that the James brown funky drummer drum break???
It is indeed
It gets you there
Between the Joseph Puig-child and UAD. Waves is fuller/more harmonically exciting and UAD is punchier/tighter
That album… I can’t even… so good
what song is the third one
Thru The Eyes Of Ruby
Do you do it on the drum group or on just the kick?
You can do it on either or both, it's quite versatile in that way
This was awesome! More videos like this please❤
Lowdown 👍🏻
Love Tuna in the Brine!!
One of my fav things ab the cure is listening to it loud and hearing each individual instrument, sometimes I find stuff I haven’t noticed before. Cool video
Yep definitely. Cheers!
How much I feel What a fool believes Anything by Loggins
Thank you so much, six is such an underrated album, very musically rich and well arranged
WISH GOT TO BE. # 2..........
Not by a long shot
Agreed!
what about cla 10a?
Haven't tried those
I love this, it does work. And I'm using the same UAD Pultec plug-in.
You say it's a standout album in silverchairs discography, but it's a standout album worldwide, till this day I have never heard anything like Diorama. And it is probably my favorite album ever ❤
Roland aka Boss know a LOT about music. It’s impressive just how many people they have helped make great music.
Sorry dude, you still sound like a flying doctor to me 😂 good thing you got that guitar going! Nice vid 😉
Flying doctor? I don't get it
@@micnixproductions back in my teens there was a show called flying doctors. That and crocodile dundee. Loved it!
@@shadesoflemoninc.3594 got it, I sound like an aussie tv show LOL
thanks for learning us how to turn knobs!
enjoy
I definitely HERDIM the difference.
touché
Yes!
Yes
@@micnixproductions yup
i love mixing into this on my master bus! ❤️
It can be a very exhausting listen, notwithstanding the quality of the songs. There’s a content creator on UA-cam who has remixed the album to sound better and I think they did a good job.
I'm Not In Love - 10cc
VDP's contributions were the arrangements and sounds not lyrics
Baker skreet!
Really informative
Thanks dude
You're welcome
Is this AI?
No
Yet it was almost all trash, give me anything 70s over 90% of 90s rock
The devil shivers when GeorgeJung speaks.
@@PopTartMan-dk2qq how very kind of you to say
Man you perfectly kerneled the beauty of those songs. Nice short.
Thanks for listening
Yes, yes, yes, and oh, YES!
Nope
Why?
Wish and the top need to be higher. Your list is disintegration first (correctly so) and then albums after it that sounded the most like disintegration. As opposed to a list of albums from best to worse.
The "Black Album" by Metallica is a feat of brilliant sound engineering, as is the Björk album "Vespertine," Fleetwood Mac's album "Rumors," and "The Dark Side of the Moon" by Pink Floyd. *Yes, some aren't 90's but they are a benchmark of excellence.
Yep absolutely
Lost me when you revealed your actual picks lol
You think those 6 albums are not well mixed?
see....see 90s is better
90‘s almost better in everything
take Green Day away and add ANY Van Halen
I prefer the 80's Van Halen rather than their 90s releases
Absolutely true! Today's technology has hurt the sound ...
Uad more fullness
Agreed 👏🏻
Walking Contraction is a nice choice.
Basically, the end of silverchair . Everyone lost interest and the band was pretty well done ..should of stuck with their early formula
They did have another popular album after this called Young Modern which had a big hit Straight Lines
@micnixproductions compared to frogstomp it was a failure. Straightlines had minor success but nobody was interested again..including me
objectively incorrect opinion. if they stuck with the same formula album after album after album, people would have lost interest either way. even before diorama was released, the band was already on a downwards spiral. the members were at eachothers throats, no matter what was released it would have marked the end for silverchair.
dioramas gotta be one of the best albums ever made. full stop. i loved silverchairs earlier stuff but god damn, diorama rrally showed off daniel johns true musical prowess
Yep it certainly did
for decades i thought Iha was the lead guitarist. Recently head blown cuz it was Billy all along. Absolute genius musician
Yes, Billy played most of the leads. However, James did play the crazy lead in Zero!
Kiss Me should definitely be higher, but I’m glad I’ve found someone who also likes Wild Mood Swings! Strange Attraction and Mint Car are 👌🏼
Yes, Wild Mood Swings is underrated in my opinion
My favorite MJ song of all time. Perfect blend of bebop jazz & R&B! I wish MJ would have performed this song live
Agreed
Right Down The Line Gerry Rafferty
