Hi Tom , I’m doing this cruise next year 2024 in reverse, Honolulu to Sydney. Any tips is welcome from you’re experience! Are there things you wish you had known sooner ? How many theme nights are onboard and what we’re they ? Do the sail cards have a hole for a clip on lanyard or do you need a plastic sleeve type lanyard ? Cheers Rod 🤙

Hey just a quick question did you take a drone ? we were thinking about it but wasn't sure of rules ??
Hi Wendy, yes I took my drone, unsure of other cruise lines policies however Royal will allow you to bring your drone to use in port only under the agreement you follow that ports drone rules, suggest taking a copy of the drone regulations of the ports you wish to fly
If you plan on going to the Big Island in Hawaii , I know you can not fly a drone over Kilauea Volcano or the Volcano National Parks

I swear I’ve clicked on this video so many times to keep me going until my next cruise, forgetting that I’ve already watched it. But that doesn’t stop me watching again 😄 I would love to know what camera/phone you use to film while snorkelling?
Glad you love this video, I rewatch it too to reminisce, I was using a GoPro Hero 4 for the snorkeling section the rest was purely shot on an iPhone XS. Hopefully your next cruise is soon I’m going February

Did you think there are too many sea days on this cruise? Just wondering if it got boring or is there plenty to do onboard to fill in the days?
Very much depends on you, I could see many people finding it too much, There is always plenty to do on Ovation, however most of the time I enjoyed just sitting outside watching the world go by

Q: is the ship currency in usd or aud, and are the electrical outlets in the room us or Australian
Everything on board is in USD. Rooms have US, Euro and USB outlets

I was on her first trip to Australia in December 2016, absolutely beautiful ship and got to sail to Hawaii in 2019 (see my other video)

The lockdown wasnt declared yet neither world travelling stopped

This is a great video, we are taking the same trip in 68 days. (Praying the crazy flu thing does not play it's hand here!) We have never been on Royal Caribbean and we have not done such a long cruise before. Any helpful input would be welcome.
