I've listened to this so many times, and each time it gave me different inputs. Today it made me think about Synecdoche - New York.
so im new to this music genre and i love it, but i have a question does anyone of you know some songs similar to the "style" like it starts at 1:54
Try old OST for starters e.g. Pierre Raph (his soundtrack to Jeunes Filles Impudiques especially), Luboš Fišer's music from Valerie and Her Week Of Wonders, Bruno Nicolai's work from the variously titled Marquis De Sade related things he did. Then I guess there's pop musicians who delve into the whole Hauntology style like The United States Of America, Delia Derbyshire, The Caretaker, High Places (their older stuff), Lucky Dragons and obviously more stuff by Broadcast & The Focus Group (try Broadcast and the Focus Group Investigate Witch Cults of the Radio Age, their record together). But tbh probably the best thing to do is raid the catalogue of tastemakers like Finder Keepers and Jonny Trunk, those guys live to pedestal this kinda stuff.
