I got some turntables for Christmas in 99 I went to a DJ keoki show at five points in Jacksonville.. there was a DJ behind you go through an alley and there was a back room where he was playing drum and bass with these records... I was talking to the guy later next to the keoki's stage about how I got the gift . And he gave me the whole pack of black science labs records.. those records were pivotal to my DJ career.. they were perfect for me to learn on since it was the same beats per minute on every record. I can single-handedly say that it was this that helped me learn how to mix so well. So I don't remember who the DJ was but if you're out there thank you for the records I definitely represented them.

I've always said you don't even need to see the name of who's doing the set to know it's a Dieselboy set. All his sets are harmoniously cerebral + brutal. You get dancefloor-pummeled with style, grace, and heavy force!
