Basically
Simply put. True Martial arts are intelligence before fighting.
Yep
You're leaving too many openings to your head
I’m actually moving my head. Which means there are only perceived openings used as bait for counter strikes.
those who comment have't even done the 1 inch punch if you fully do the 1 inch it will leave you exhausted fully i did it on makiwara pad . and also the fast twitch muscle fibres needed to be trained to achieve it
Very true. And also the hip movement needs to be twitchy enough to create enough force from a short range of motion and with no loading up.
Thanks bro please continue I also can improve by watching your tutorials
@@AbdulRahman-xj5oxthat’s good to hear man thanks for your support! More and more getting posted everyday!
I feel you brother. In regards to your reference to the military, I've considered it also. The military has softened up so drill instructors don't press people like they used to, unless you go Marines or Army. Respect for the video.

That man is barely tryna hit him be so fr and give both karate and boxing the respect it deserves from someone who’s been doing MMA for 8 years yall goofy he still leaving his body open anyways and one good liver shot he’s done for, and ain’t no one moving their head in karate with their hands behind their back be so fr

@@branchesvlog4137 comment again when you’ve been training for over a decade.
@ sure dude… take the black belt off and get it when you earned it 10 years of McDojo classes don’t make you an expert at anything me and another person got you in a lie like there’s no way you defending yourself dawg 😓 your head movement was trash and again, that head movement “drill” is goofy and doesn’t work for training you’d get a better exercise and routine by just dodging fake hands while shadowboxing
@ dunno what you’re trying to prove here but if you have been doing karate for over a decade this is like probably the worst thing you could’ve posted of those 10 years
That's not karate and that's not boxing.....
Then what is it?
Weakest "Boxer" iv ever seen 😂 Karate is a trash ass "combat sport" or "fighting style."" A real boxer would have knocked your head into one of those chairs 😂😂 You really thouvht you cooked huh? 😅

This is a clip from a 15 minute video. Ofc I started dodging, you try to stand there while a world champion is tryna make u throw up 🤣
@THE_URBAN_ASSASSIN yea but don't say you ate when you did you best to not get hit. Taking the punch means you ate. Dodging them does not lol
@ if you actually watch the video I ate plenty of his punches.
@THE_URBAN_ASSASSIN im just messing with you man. Nobody wants to get punched, you should be dodging them either way

Black Kwon Do
@ lil racist I think but I’ll take it🤣
@THE_URBAN_ASSASSIN the word racist means to think you are superior to another race based off of skin color. I didn't mention anything like that lol. No racism, I'm just calling it Black Kwon Do.
@@ArtistDaynz90 if you think racism stops at the definition or is defined within society by the exact definition,in all cases, you needa hit the books more G. Your calling the martial art black kwon do based off of what? More than likely our skin color. It’s not about superiority over another based off skin color that necessarily makes something or someone racist but can sometimes be the categorization of things based off race, skin color, or background that can make a comment be perceived as racist. But I’d ask myself, if I were you, before I say stuff “would I say this in the middle of the hood surrounded by a whole bunch of (insert race)” if the answer is no, it’s probably racist 🤣

Don’t always have to throw punches. Time and place. You see people bring bow and arrows to the battlefield against rocket launchers?

@@AslamAzmoon does every ufc end up on the ground?
No one wins that was bull shit… let them go in no rules and see who wins. The title claims who wins MMA versus karate and they showed a simple sparring match during a class.
Sparring isn’t about winning or losing, it’s about learning. You should get off the internet and go train, it’s healthy and would change your life! 🥋
@THE_URBAN_ASSASSIN I appreciate your honest reply. And maybe my comment was not written the way it was intended to be read. I went off the title and what I seen. And thank you for your insight on what I should do with my time but I’ll give you a quick breakdown. I am 42 years old and trained Muay Thai since the age of seven I have a blue belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and participated in MMA events for 17 years before it was sanctioned in my state. I fought for Dog Pound MMA in Connecticut and appeared on karate zone in Poughkeepsie, New York at the mid Hudson Civic Center over 13 times. I respect all disciplines in the martial arts world and me no disrespect to the individuals in the video.

They forgot about punches
Time and place. Can’t punch in kicking range. That’s ill advised.
No mma lol and it was all body work
Everything doesn’t have to look like UFC to be MMA. You can work the body and still be doing MMA because you’re mixing martial arts together to get those strikes in. Go train and get off the internet🥋
@@THE_URBAN_ASSASSIN your dumbass literally titled the video MMA vs karate and all we got was just body shots and high kicks. Neither aspects of each martial was tested or shown to a high degree here. Stop selling snake oil and get off the internet
@@THE_URBAN_ASSASSIN sure thing macdojo sensei. One session of muay thai has more mma than this shit
Looks like kyokushin sparring rule set. Limited mma
MMA is mixing martial arts. It’s not limited at all, it’s about using your understanding of technique to adapt to different situations. Karate rulesets are a great way to test your skills in different capacities. Not everything needs to end up on the ground or in a clinch. And not everything needs to look like UFC.
Awful coach making the student count gym wins.
What are you talking about? Imma awful coach but lil bros world champion? Make it make sense please 🙏
I think you guys should do it in a different gym or maybe you guys could do your styles without any rules. Since it was karate vs MMA, I think you guys may have been in a karate gym. Maybe you guys can go to an MMA gym to make it more fair that way one guy can freely use his karate skills, while the other uses his mixed martial arts skills freely. It would be more fairer because one person doesn't have to follow strict rules anymore if you guys sparred in an MMA gym. Overall though, I like the speed and the technique of both.
This is an MMA gym. Kajukenbo is one of the first MMA styles in America and has the oldest martial arts tournament in the US as well. This day we did many different sparring sessions, nobody was limited, this is one 30 second clip. Also, it’ll never be fair for my student until he has some more years and is old enough for me to go past 30%. He’s 15, that’s why the ruleset are limited in different capacities for different sessions. But it’s to focus on different aspects of his technique so he can improve in incremental fashion. It’s hard to learn when you have to focus on many(takedowns, grappling, ground game) things at once but easier when you can focus on a few things(kicking, punching, defense, footwork) so that later you can add them all together because you understand the intricacies of each aspect. 🥋
Red helmet seems like he has a karate base but has been training MMA. Which if this was a MMA fight that aggression would probably win him the encounter....I don't get why you would want to learn a style that limits your ability. You should be able to fight freely, even if that means you throw yourself off balance.
No, you should never compromise your balance to fight freely. Balance is one of the most important things in fighting and if you have none and fight someone like me who capitalizes on your off balance, your aggressiveness will be used against you because your coming forward into all my strikes with no solid base. We train kajukenbo which is one of the first mma styles from the USA. And it’s not limiting your ability, it’s training different aspects in depth, separately, to focus on them. We do all types of sparring, don’t limit yourself by taking 30 second videos out of context and get off the internet sooner or later and go train. It’ll change your life🥋
even in MMA they really do _not_ wanna be off balance lol
You should never throw yourself off balance that's just dumb
Oh wow this is actually pretty good. The student is a lil aggressive with no balance. What happens when ur a young 1 . Always moving quickly. Good stuff hope you know Jesus died on the cross, rose on the 3rd day And wants a relationship with you. Romans 10:9 New International Version If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Luke 17:21 "For behold, the kingdom of God is within you"
