    The Krag is one of, if not my favorite bolt actions of all time. The US really should've considered modernizing it by adding a second locking lug to the bolt and make speedloaders for it, in the same way the Norwegians did. My Springfield Krag was what I got my first whitetail with, And It's a treasure in my collection.

    Swedish military still use these to this date. Called KLAS, stands for ”Kort Liten Attack Spade” translated to “short little attack shovel”

    Got me one of them. U.S. AMES 1945, got it for $2 at a garage sale. The 90° position makes for an excellent camp toilet. Handle in the ground, one cheek on the blade, crap over the side. It also saved my ass from falling down a revine onto a pile of rusted out refrigerators and washing machines. Hooked it on a tree and pulled myself up. MADE IN USA BABY... back when that meant something

    • @pacifichobbyist
      @pacifichobbyist Місяць тому

      Buddy there’s no corn fiasco it’s a medal from the 50s From 1954 to 1960, the total sown area of land in the USSR increased by 46 million hectares, with 90% of the increase due to the Virgin Lands campaign. Overall, the Virgin Lands campaign succeeded in increasing production of grain and in alleviating food shortages in the short term. The enormous scale and initial success of the campaign were quite a historical feat …why don’t you educate yourself! Lil bro

    Modern practice grenades are designed to give a little puff. Not enough to cause injury or damage (unless mishandled), but just enough to see where it "explodes."
