Why do Christians call the story of The Christ "The Passion"? I understand why Jesus is called The Christ is same as Siddhartha Gautama is called the Historical Buddha and Jesus of Nazareth is referred to as The Christ. As a Christian and a Buddhist the correct titles for these two religious icons The Christ and The Historical Buddha, correct me if I am wrong. In the movie Judas Iscariot is portrayed as the man who betrayed Jesus for thirty pieces of silver. There is another story though. Jesus and Judas were best friends. In the Book of Judas, Of the twelve it was Judas that was the favourite disciple. He was the best student. Judas understood everything Jesus taught right away. Jesus released his friend Judas telling him what was going to happen because Jesus had the power of Second Sight. The Jewish people were created with special gifts. One of these gifts is the power of Second Sight. Clairvoyant savants. In the Old Testament the entire history of the Jewish race is filled with their miracles. Moses parting the Red Sea. Joseph predicting famine and saving Egypt from starvation. The Jewish race, these people are so much more better than us yet they do not measure up to their potential. If you were a god shouldn't you being setting the moral high ground for the rest of us to follow. But no. What a disappointment you must be to the Creator to have have given you all these gifts only to be morally inferior.

In my opinion, they didn't want to market(distribute) this movie not because of Mel Gibson, but because the Hollywood industry , with maybe a few exceptions, doesn't like Jesus Christ.
