Nora Aunor statement is very clear. She is an intelligent person . Some people judge her otherwise for not speaking English well and that should not be the basis whether a person is intelligent or not. When she was caught in the LA airport for carrying a mariajuana, she was brought to court about this case. She took an interpreter as translator. The translator himself told me the story. You know, most Filipinos judge their fellow Filipinos if a person could not speak English well. Masyadong mapag mata ang karamihan. I see Nora's what we call dedication and what we call kabayanihan or kanyang pag tangkilik sa Pilipinas. She has that innate and sincere love for the country. Nalampasan niya yung kaso and hindi siya nakulong for that matter and that means she's an exemption. If you get into marijuana case in Amerika kulong ka even a short period of time. My advice is to never downgrading a person like Nora. As being a National Artist is a proof that she is great and she's a person that you can be proud of in whatever connection or association you have with her.
