This really lacks the energy of the original opening, in general I think the new cutscenes lose something. I'm glad we have the new version of the game, but mostly for the actual gameplay.
It's disappointing how they've slightly fast-paced the part where the Mothership gets blown up, the lack of hearing the music loudly along with the quick switches to how much closer the missile was getting and Pox's "WHAT IN THE-?!?" really takes away some of the hype. Also, Crypto's dance is now just...awkward. It's lost it's physical comedy without the original exaggeration. That being said, I do like how the Mothership has a few moments before completely exploding. Helps let it sink in this way that the "hub world" of the original game is gone now, and things are gonna be very different going forward. Also, I kinda like the new addition of seeing Pox transfer his mind into the holopox unit in this version. While the original game's dialog made it sound that he just happend to of stored a copy of his mind in a unit before he himself got blown up, this version seems to be going for an interpretation like his actual mind was transferred out before the impact. I don't know, I just kinda like that new take. What's with all the new robot helpers though? They were never in the original games nor the first remake, what's the point of them?
The robot assistances actually were in the original second game, but the remake seemed to give them a bigger role. One of those robots actually appear in one of the slides censoring crypto’s crotch in the original second game.
@@captaineli2461 I've noticed them now, and makes sense I didn't the other times due to them just lying still. Makes them part of the scenery, so they're easily overlooked.
They changed a few things. Crypto doesn't do the hip-thrust while dancing. And when the Russians mention "The Package", there's no image of Crypto's crotch, showing us exactly what "The Package" is. And Pox doesn't say "What the" before the missile hits. But I've also noticed the human women look at Crypto before running away, seeming to indicate they were being hypnotized beforehand. In the original, they looked to the sky and saw the explosion before running away.
Yeah, if they've cut that, you can guarantee that the actual dialogue with Natalya at least has been neutered. I think I'll wait until it's had a few months for feedback before looking to play it, as there's nothing in the original that is so deeply offensive that it would cause mass protests, in fact, she was able to quickly and sharply put down Crypto's leering remarks, was she not?
@@connorm.anderton363 Well, there is one that comes to mind. In the ending cutscene, when Crypto is in bed with a clone of Natalya, he says that he made a few adjustments. That can be construed as rape, as he basically manipulated her into being interested in him when she was previously either uninterested or just on the fence. I wouldn't be surprised if that line was removed. I know that also removed a few sexual jokes from the DAH1 remake.
@@SaiyanGamer95 Ah right, I'd forgotten about that bit, yeah, that'll be snipped ("breeding ideal" meme), unless it is supposed to imply that she is part-Furon? Then again, the whole game is partially about Crypto getting his "package", and it shows that he's a vulnerable creature who could become extinct without it, as the DNA would fade with every new clone being made. I'm just guessing, but I wouldn't be surprised if most of the innuendo was cut from the remake at this rate, which would be a shame. P.S. They made Ponsonby look absolutely ridiculous already.
Did you not notice the image of Crypto literally nude in place of the old “package” slide? LMAO. Old game gave us just angles of his uniform, fully clothed, and you think that’s more bold than Crypto legitimately hanging dong on the white house lawn?? His legs are even skinnier than I thought. I guess we’ll find out how much is taken out later, but c’mon don’t discredit what are actually MORE lewd additions compared to the original, either lol.
@@SaiyanGamer95 NGL honestly? I’d bet my money they do keep it, or at least plenty of other gags like it. Obviously they have no problem with the russian and japanese stereotypes, the cults and the furon worship of the sacred crotch. I don’t know why you’d think it would change beyond that. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind a few changes, but even from the start, how does Crypto get chicks not to freak out and sleep with if not mind control? The whole game is full of gags almost always MEANT to be heard.
Animation wise this was certainly an improvement, but couldn’t help but notice that the Russian “Gasps” were a lot more quiet than in the original & not to mention Pox’s “WHAT IN THE…” is absent entirely.
I am concerned that this game will be absolutely neutered, but obviously I hope not as none of the jokes were severely iffy if I remember correctly. They may get actual Japanese people to re-dub the Ninja dialogue, of course, but I have a feeling that the Crypto/Pox banter will be "sorted out", as well as the Crypto/Natalya jokes.

@@Visgoth Since this is probably a mp4 video like the DAH 1 remake intro, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is a earlier version and they just put it in to work on the subtitles or something.
It possibly they could released July or August, because the first Remake was released on July 28. However, since we haven't gotten any more info from the developers, so it is possible they aiming for later date. Although with current screenshots and the alpha build, it looks like it will soon be gonna go gold.
2:05 Pox: What in the-?! He said that in the original version. Sadly, it was removed in the remake
Milenkov: Revolution.
take this down you retard
"Mine's bigger."
Graphics are much better but I wish they added that background shot of the debris falling when they had guns at each other.
this game is such a gem

I do the dance crypto 138 does
I would have Krypto dancing more, like he was in the original. Here hes just...shuffling around
thx for the intro now we know that the Russians killed and experimented on crypto 137. Hopefully we went down fighting and killing a few of em
Looks nice but I'm mad they changed Cryptos dance
Lol that little like Mexican hip mivng dance was perfect lol.
They missed the part when Orthopox said, “Whay in the?”
Looks just as fun
I'm sad they removed the "What the-" when Orthodox dies

The audio and lip syncing are off and it doesn't have the same timing and editing as the original. Lacks the punch. Sexy visuals aren't everything.
Hope this isn't the final animation. It's a major downgrade from the original
But in the 1st remake crypto doesn't have a canon death
instant buy tbh
You see couple of changes here and there from the original one
judging by how we get to see a glimpse of 137's corpse, it looks like the humans got to him, probably was shot down in a saucer
Tragic irony, he died the same way Crypto-136 did.
I think we were supposed to see the Mothership blow up in the sky above Crypto, also his dance moves got a major downgrade.
