Sure, give it a shot, it's pretty fun to play, the tone comes from the Adrenalinn III, you just play the notes and the efect plays the sequence you hear with that efect you mention
This guy is a great guitarist, but look how hard he works trying to play a classic SRV tune, and he didn’t even slide , SRV was one of a kind.
You might want to go back and listen to some of SRVs versions of the song it’s no where near as clean and tight as this & tbh a bit sloppy compared to what we hear here. That’s why I laughed reading your comment originally cause it’s kind of oblivious

Why in the hell would anyone want to play SRV's "Slide Thing" without the slide guitar? If Mayer can't play slide, then maybe he should have picked a different SRV song to play.
