I came to watch the guide after beating her myself, just because I found some good methods, but also didn't feel like I truly understood the boss by the time I beat it. I didn't even think to parry Kiana in her red zone phase, I just jumped and dashed under her horizontal attacks. Parrying would have been far easier and more effective! Also, I just tanked the damage in the slow walk, spin blade attack! I guess that time warp power hasn't fully clicked for me as something I can use in combat. I went into this fight with +2 to Qays and Layla, which helped. I also had amulets which added to my melee strength and air attack strength. The biggest tip I want to give is to equip the amulet that creates a time bubble when you parry. It's game changing. In the first phase, when she sends out her spinning blade that boomerangs, you can parry when it leaves and when it comes back. In the meantime, you wail on the beast, doing enough damage to build your Athra meter to the first level which I'd then unleash. You do enough damage in that period to send the fight into the first red, rhythm phase. In the second phase, the encounter in which she plays fetch with the beast can be used in the same way!

Also, you can parry her spear attack into the beast. Works nice. I think you missed that tip.

Use roll sparingly, like dont use it if you can avoid it, it will get you into more trouble if your using it all the time, if you can walk/run away, do that first, hit roll as an intense escape button.

when you're in the fog circle he will jump at you from the furthest point, so if you are running around the edge of it constantly, shooting mobs between steps, you dont need to roll, he will miss you just from walking.

This fight made me quit this game. The adds in the circle that chase you are ridiculous and will not die with my best AOE therefore i get steamrolled. Want to like this game but im done. Back to better challenging games like Dark Souls and Bloodborne.

This game is exhausting taking all the fun out of it. When are bosses suppose to be 10x stronger then you don’t matter what build you have! Like tf i understand it’s a souls game but to take out the difficulty setting. DID THEY FORGET ITS A GAME SUPPOSE TO BE FUN!

Thanks a lot for the tips. One thing that I found helped a lot was getting the amulet that gives you some health when you parry. So during those "shadow realm" rhythm sections, you can parry your way back to full health.

I got the skill at much shorter path, just kill stone vanguard and follow the path slide and get the ability

Not sure if you mentioned it tusk toss is cracked on fighter to, hold X during burst strike release on hit it'll tusk toss them into the air letting you execute tusk toss can be charged during most animations to. Also shout out to vengeful slash, that'll put a dullahan in a critical strike in one hit and is a great replacement for Hindsight during boss fights. Vengeful is a lot better if you don't hold the stance use it just as an attack is about to hit, it'll use less stamina than holding and interuppt some attacks Cloudsward is great to hits flying enemies and weak points on large monsters can also lead to a critical if done off a ledge. Cool niche with cloudsward is it can one shot skeletons if it hits them in the head Don't sleep on divine defense to that shit will block drakefire and finally steeled will, seems like a normal skill right? break your fall on surfaces seems a very humble move till you find out enemies count as surfaces cyclops threw you off? you're straight back on with this skill
