Perhaps she is baking all the cakes so he kicks the bucket 😂
Definitely back to the wall. I used salt lines to narrow down were the slugs were coming in my house. Shame you don't have a dash cam you could have got them done for going through a red light 😂
100 excellent
In future remind them that they are targeting you with hate crime due to your Irish name, bet that shuts them up😂
Bet you remember their name in the future 😂
the best thing about ep1 is for me the pod racing, at the time i was probably about 14 and id been dragged out to watch a matinee of the original films at some point , so i had some understanding of who anakin was supposed to be, but i probably wasn't thinking about it at the time. same sort of age as the protagonist and probably quite enjoyed his slapstick comedy of the dreaded jar jar binks. the whole pod racing scene really felt like a video game come to life, and who cant get a hard on for the idea of strapping a pair of space ship engines to a sled and racing them in a no holds barred race through a canyon ?
What ever floats your boat Lukearoo!
Lucky it was down you and not a customer!
Never let facts get in the way of a good story, however I often just skip the end of the Martian, sounds like something similar happens in the end of this one, where the suspension of disbelief breaks down. I'm surprised Ben has never watched the originals and I do highly recommend it first the practical effects and set design of the first film are iconic and then the sequel turns the suspenful horror into an 80s action film, the rest are all remixes and rehashed ideas that fall short of the mark and I'm quite concerned that this film would just be another bucket intk the already diluted pool, will probably watch it anyway
Ungentlemanly warfare well worth a watch, very entertaining
Best hangover cure, start drinking again! Wait until you get the long hair on your ears 😂
Nothing wrong with us boomers 😂
I won't mention the washing machine it's under the wire 😉
When Chelmsford introduce the one way system in the town centre and blocked roads off even the locals didn't know how to follow it. I knew Chelmsford well and I went around 3 times to get out when I visited many years ago. Should have gone straight to Writtle to visit family 😂
Did you say something I was not listening 😂
At least she didn't flush twice 😂
Today's technology would block those Web sites in schools now and if it didn't it would flag up to the IT department. Big Brother is watching 😉
I seem to have a bad habit of loving films people say they hate, I think ghostbusters two was a good film, now it does have its issues sure but I do always enjoy just how silly it is. Bill Murrays character though, massive creep and a bit of a dick generally. I even found the female recast version to be ... almost watchable, I know its vilified but I think it probably would have done alright if there wasn't a culture war going on over its being made in the first place. Afterlife was good , and I'll get around to this one eventually
Agree the first Ghostbusters was brilliant, second don't bother and the third worth watching. I have no interest in watching the new film.
Loved the original film, a great story and songs.
I'm impressed Ben for getting up and going to the gym for 6am, I'm normally going into the Grandchildrens room telling them to shut up and go back to bed 😂 Paddy how could you mix up Mother's day 😮 😂
Only a oxygen thief would complain about the roast he got that he wanted and was not on the menu.
Looking forward to watching it. I watch films like this as you don't have to work out what is happening, you can just switch off. Just good old fashion violence and it's the criminal who suffers. Films like this has to have the terrible jokes but can't comment until I see it if it's over the top.
To find the ring size, get her into lord of the rings and suggest doing his/hers cosplay at a larp convention, if she says no, dump her, you just saved yourself £500, convince her to get herself some magnificent rings, then steal one, (claim goblins did it) propose on the edge of a volcano
Fun fact about fizzy water, it's the top selling soft drink in Germany, more popular than coke, I think we probably have gotten so used to the heavy texture of syrup based fizzy drinks and cordials that even flavoured fizzy water just tastes wrong to us. I do enjoy it on occasion but that was built up from a intense dislike of the stuff as a child.
If you do spot your friends mum. On the hub, at least tip her.
Nap hangover is definitely a thing, I'll either wake up feeling worse than when I started or I'll just won't wake up at all.

I never understood the hype behind hungergames, the first 2 movies where alright. just watch the Japanese classic battle royale instead.
I liked Bros. "I want to make little chocolates!"
i have not given my chocolate starfish a papercut, though by the sounds of it id rather try than watch this film
This is the general consensus 😂
Promo-SM 😊
Regarding the second film, there's no need for any film to be more than 2 hours long unless there's just so much to pack in its needed. None of them are better for being longer
A phrase for the pre film talk. A good fisherman examines his catch before he eats it
Re toilet paper .. check inside for what ? Are you expecting a smear to resemble the mona Lisa? Looking for a clean sheet makes sense.. for the blind though, they just ask the dog
You missed a trick paddy, apparently there's a huge market in used sex toys ... 🤢
That's disgusting 🤮
How much do you have to hate a film I don't particularly like the fast and furious franchise wouldn't stop me marrying someone with a tattoo of vin diesel
On the subject of issues in hotel rooms I did once stay in a room that felt way too small for a human being and as I looked around it became clear that what I was staying in was a somewhat large room cut clean in half down the middle.
I feel like you need to start an app specifically for trading sexual favours for local flavours, before grinder bans asking for restaurant tips in their t.o.s :)
Me and my brother did rush out to go see it despite having been forewarned of paddy's opinion, we loved it , where crying with laughter even but it is so very low brow humour, just filth and otherwise looked like a family guy sketch with the cg canine actors pretty much just standing still and having their jaw Bob, we feel like the animators, talented as they where got really fed up with what the director was asking for, as there where a few strange choices I imagine someone was like yes ok fine ill animate a dog peeing up against a wall, fine.. now you want 4 dogs doing it? All different sizes and one of them female ... nah, copy paste the effect.
My favourite complaint . . . Working in customer service, on the call for 20 mins dealing with a complaint, end of the call the customer asks to also be removed from our mailing list as they aren’t satisfied with the service and won’t be ordering again. I apologise and say I’m sorry to hear that but I will arrange that. Call ended then she called back to speak to a manager because I didn’t sound sad enough that she wanted to be removed from the mailing list
😂😂😂
I'm glad I'm not alone In thinking that completely unpacking all your clothes on arrival is a bit strange, usually I just lump my suitcase up on one of the chairs I won't be using anyway and just use that as needed
Gran turismo claiming to be a driving Simulator is such a load of marketing guff, it does work though, for a good while I assumed I'd simply never be able to drive without crashing given my skills in the game, without the proper controls, its just a badly made racing game. Most of the stuff they do making the game is true of any other game, sampling exhaust noises, masturbating over polygon rich interior shadows, 3d scanning real race tracks. I beleive the latest rendition simulates cloud formation and rain in real time, for more accurate skies ;)
I tried recommending the pod cast to my dog, she's a strange pup so who knows, currently she's up on top of my wardrobes searching for a ball she's lost
I think the audience for this was intended to be the close to 40's like myself who where bought up watching the cartoons in the 90s and should at my age have older children.
Just as well you didn't do a Dad stare! 😂
Paddy was tempted!
i am over 30, nearly 40, i've occasionally done long stints awake, mainly when time had no fecking meaning during lockdown, and id spend time i could have been struggling to breathe in vein hope of getting some sleep, or i could watch Australians streaming video games on twitch at 4 in the morning. paddy hits on one of my pet grievances with the extended cinematic universe, which is deteriation of the value of threat to our characters and the universe they inhabit. recent star treks have really rubbed me the wrong way in that regaurd, having a character get overly upset and take lots of risks because a couple of hundred people died as the result of a "super weapon" whilst billions of people die in the same episodes via conflict / other mundane causes and nobody is showing any significant emotions about that. not to mention, its difficult to be to heavily invested in a story, when every meaningful loss stands to be reversed at the drop of a time travel hat or a wish it all didn't happen spell or whatever. hope you've enjoyed six flags.
Hi Lukearoo, We understand fully what you mean with timelessness in lockdown, it was a bad time for everyone! Paddy is a massive of Star Trek and agrees with that statement, commit to a character's death and set the example, especially if its a bigger Star, e.g. Drew Barrymore in Scream
No, never trust steven kings official stamp of approval, he has a shady track record there, with maximum overdrive
Ben, your local hookup hero
I enjoyed the previous spiderman film, it was unique and it didn't waste too much time hammering the backstory repeatedly down my throat as so many spiderman films have done. That said I probably won't watch any more spiderman films as my opinion of them is so washed out as the franchise gets more and more diluted, on the last minute subject of watching bambi, did you know that film was made in the 1940's ? So if somebody hasn't seen it there's no good reason for that.
Thanks Lukearoo for your thoughts some very interesting thoughts that have given us some ideas to talk about for the future!
69 days!!!! 😂😂😂
Nice!
