Plot goes something like this:
Hotch is having troubles admitting his feelings for Reid, he spends most of his time thinking about him, watching over him. Nothing can help and then, Reid goes missing. He's kidnapped, tortured, and drugged, because an Unsub found out that he was gay. As Hotch and the team works the case, he begins to remember why he fell in love with Reid in the first place. Reid, falling in and out of consciousness, remembers Hotch, and all the things that he's done for him, all the times that he's been there for him, and Reid realizes that he's willing to take the pain as long as there's hope that Hotch will come for him.
But this has happened once before, while Reid and Hotch were interviewing Chester and he threatens to do things to Reid. Hotch lashes out.
Hotch will do whatever it takes to get Reid back, and Reid will do whatever it takes to return to Hotch.
