That was and is so true. I was sitting at a traffic light where u can get on the beltway and off. There was nobody behind me in my car or a car behind me and a voice said clear as day, "Don't Go" so I didn't go and looked to my left where I was gonna turn here comes this tractor trailer barreling down the ramp and not stopping. When he went passed I looked in my mirror to c if a car was behind me and there wasn't just me. Chills and a peaceful feeling came over me. That voice came from God that's y I'm still here today. Thank you God and thank you Jesus

Jesus and His apostles tell us how to be saved by providing specific commandments for salvation in the New Testament Scriptures. They are presented here with example Scripture references. Once we become Christians by obeying Jesus’ commandments for salvation below, we should practice our faith by doing good works. Note that we cannot be saved until we have remission of sins through baptism. --LIVE A CHRISTIAN LIFE BY OBEYING AND SERVING CHRIST (Matthew 25:31-46; Revelation 2:10). Ephesians 2:8-9 states that we are saved by grace through faith, not works. This means that Jesus saves us through His grace as a gift to those who have faith enough in Him to obey His commandments. NOTE THAT JESUS’ COMMANDMENTS ARE NOT PERSONAL WORKS. Given that, denominations abuse Ephesians 2:8-9 in claiming “salvation by faith alone in Jesus.” In other words, just BELIEVE, accept/trust Jesus, invite Him into your heart, say a sinner’s prayer, and you’re supposedly saved. But Jesus says, “If ye love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15 KJV), just like those above. “Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you” (John 15:14 KJV). “And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? (Luke 6:46 KJV). THEREFORE, IF YOU TRULY HAVE FAITH IN JESUS AND YOU REALLY WANT TO BE SAVED, THEN DO WHAT JESUS TELLS YOU TO DO. IT’S. JUST. THAT. SIMPLE.

And yes I thank God for many things and for everything. So I do most of the talking. Still I have my own way I see fit to listen to God outside my thanksgiving prayer time which is alone seated in bed or in a lonely chair in the kitchen or reading the bilble or walking with the dog at night time.
