Korg Trinity Battery Replacement
Переглядів 2,6 тис.Рік тому
Replacing the battery in a Korg Trinity synthesizer requires some basic technical knowledge and tools. Here are the steps you can follow to replace the battery in your Korg Trinity: 1 - Turn off the power and unplug all cables from the synthesizer. 2 - Open the top cover of the synthesizer by removing the screws on the sides and back of the unit. 3 - Locate the batter on the circuit board. Deso...
Thanks brah, gotta love old school design and engineering😆Built to last though👍🏻
Thank you for posting. How exactly did you clean the cable?
Thanks for this, I had to take mine apart for something else and this was very useful.
Hi Matias. Which battery for Trinity plus? That model isnt on Sentaur. Thanks
Many thxx for your help..
How did you know it was that particular connector that needed cleaning? I have right channel only for outputs 1/2. 1 + 2 outputs both work with just 1 cable (mono), but two cables result in just the right channel sounding. . I'm hoping it is the connector from main board to output board that is my problem, because taking everything apart like you did is a nightmare.
I have the same issue in the V3 ProX. I applied Deoxit to the connector, but the problem persists. Did you solve your issue?
@@tz.ambient I reseated all the accessible connectors on the main board that looked like they might be carrying audio out, and cleaned the pins. It worked. I don't know which connector was the issue, but the car journey when collecting the Trinity from the seller had probably vibrated them loose a bit.
My keys on my more trinity are stuck down…how do I know what to remove in order to fix it 😖
I have a question for you. Is it the same process for the headphone jack as well?
Thanks for this. Is there any way to transfer the Korg music files on a floppy disk to my computer for storage?
Thank you!!!
Eres el de Mia y Matías?
Very good video indeed. It's mentioned in syntaur i should save the data. But i have another problem, i also have to change the disk drive. I have the part, so... do you have a video for that job? I think i'd better first change the drive, then check the drive, and then change the battery, what do you think about it ?
It's unbelievable they soldered it on the board. It was probably to hard for them to use a normal removable battery socket 😀 Anyway thanks for the vid 🙂
O que foi modificado, nao entendi, obrigado
Soldering a battery into the main board is a dumb idea. Not sure what was Korg thinking. Replacing a battery in this type of keyboard is something that shouldn’t take more that a trip to the nearest store, buy the battery and put it on the keyboard.
Agreed, the funny part is that the Wavestation has a battery socket and it came out before the trinity. Cutting down on parts I guess.
please can you do a video on korg triton studio poer to motherbord connection.... please please
Do you have to reinstall the presets
I got the same question, for me with the drained battery everything is set to init.
thanks
Great tutorial - thanks!
Thank you! Let me know if you have any video suggestions, cheers!
@@matiaslanzi-ENG Will do!
