Quick Facts about Jasmine:
🌼 My first garden was a couple of lettuce seeds in a home made hydroponic garden, “lettuce” just say it came out terribly.
🌼 I’m growing in Zone 10B (means it’s really hot) and Sunset Zone 24 (means I’m by the Coast). We may not have wintery frost, but it does get pretty hot and gross sometimes.
🌼 I’ve been a professional event coordinator for over 10 years and my favorite way to decorate events is with unconventional displays of fruits, vegetables and flowers!

I love straw flowers! Do you grow yours from seed?
I do actually grow them from seed. I think next season I might explore growing winged everlastings. They’re a smaller spray version of strawflowers!

Where do I find them?
Hi! Nigella is a native wildflower in the UK. I get my Nigella seeds from Johnny’s Seeds. Botanical Interest also carries them so you might be able to find them at your local Armstrong garden center!

I thought Dahlias were perennials here in my zone 😅 they died so I'm planting more next weekend.
I’ve definitely have seen people overwinter them in higher zones like mine before but I think it depends on what kind of soil you have. Pretty much all of us with clay is a big NOPE 😅 for overwintering because they just rot in the ground.
It's great have fresh vegetables from garden to table.
