I built a jewelry box for my wife’s birthday!
This was a surprise birthday gift for my wife. I used ambrosia maple and walnut. All brass hardware and ring display inserts were purchased from Amazon.

The Best Memorial Flag Case
Переглядів 145Рік тому
There’s no better way to start my channel than with a dedication to my grandpa. His memorial flag case was built using walnut and brass accents in my home shop. Thanks for stopping by to see my first UA-cam video. Please like and follow for more wood-working content!
This looks amazing! I plan on trying to make this. Did you make any further modifications from Anna White’s plan?
Nice man
Thanks!
Great job my man! This was so good to see because you are doing it with equipment most of us can actually afford. I just watched a video from a woman making a folding outfeed table. Nice work, but her shop had at lest $50k of equipment not including clamps and hand tools! I mean for God's sake she had the new makers CNC router Shaper Origin. That thing is about $3k on its own! Beautiful piece! I am going to make the same thing for my wife this Christmas.
Thanks man. I would love to have fancy new tools and a clean shop but the reality is that won’t ever happen lol. Most expensive tool I have is a grizzly table saw now. Cheaper tools work just as good and get the job done.
Absolutely beautiful work. I hope my attempt comes out even half as good. Can I ask what were the changes you made? What thicknesses did you go with? Where did you get those knobs? Etc?
www.ana-white.com/sites/default/files/Fancy%20JB%20Leadin%20Pic.jpg this was the site I got the plans from. Plans called for 3/4” everything. I only used 3/4” for top and bottom everything else was 1/2”. 1/4” for drawer bottoms and drawer dividers. I got all of the hardware from Amazon
How heavy is that fucker?
Would love to see a more in-depth video on this set up
Hey, sorry I don’t have one I just looked on the google for ideas and threw this together with scrap wood one afternoon.
Great video, and fantastic jewelry box. This was best I've seen in both respects.
Thank you!
Just came across this video. You need to make more videos! You have great skills!
Thank you! I’m trying to get the hang of the content making part
Looks awesome, love the maple.

Yessir!
Hi, do you have the plan for this jewelry box for sale? Would love to purchase this plan. Thanks
I used plans loosely from Ana White’s website www.ana-white.com/woodworking-projects/fancy-jewelry-box
This box looks great, congratulations ! May I suggest that drawer sides could be rabbeted before they are cut to length: a single long rabbet to cut instead of multiple short ones ;)
I didn’t of that but will definitely keep it mind for future builds.
Well done Brother! Man that's really nice.
Thank you!
