There are still several articles, and content creators, who not only run it vertical, but still think that it’s best ran vertical because of the cooling benefits from it. However, if they put correct accessory in it, it’ll still vent properly.

@@vgoated_god1088 ok first those creators are not talking about what im talking about thy are talking about ventilation and im talking about leaking liquid metal now dose the PS5 actually vent better vertically NO why well the people who think it vents better think because heat rises it will vent better vertical because of the vents on the top but that's not ware the heat exhaust comes from the air enders from the front and top of the console because of the Venturi effect and also enters from side of the fan just under the side cover that is then directed threw the heatsinks at the back of the console so all the heat comes out the back and not the top so being vertical or horizontal dose not master and their have been to many convection videos done by gamers nexus to prove the fans in a system be it a PC or a console over power the natural heat rising theory but their is also evidence that suggest keeping it vertical will let more dust to the fans to be sucked in and clog the heat sink fins thus limiting cooling performance but again that has nothing to do with what my OP was about it was about the fact that every time the console runs the liquid metal used between the CPU and the heat sinks contact plate liquefies and starts to run out from between the contact plate and the CPU onto the MoBo and when liquid mettle hits the solder on the MoBo or the aluminum parts of capacitors transiters resister and so on the liquid metal will eat those metals killing the MoBo killing the PS5 and the liquid metal can even liquify in slightly higher then room temp so in a lot of places during the summer the PS5s liquid metal will not resolidify for months giving it more time to leak out and get on the MoBo even when the console is not on so keeping your PS5 vertical is a death sentence for your PS5 now if you want to deal with a dead PS5 that's on you its your console do what you want

@@50radsit cant the Soc was outdated by the time it released 😂 Sony & Microsoft Jumped the Gun The PS4 Pro & Xbox One X we’re Doing Just Fine, They Could Have Done Some Upgrading & Tweaking Before Releasing The Ps5 & Xbox Series, But Both Companies Chose To Profit Due To Covad, & We Saw How Price Gauging The Market Was During Covad. People Paying thousands for consoles & Gpus & Sony Is Saying Buy Our Console Again As Most People I Know Are On There 3 Console Already & Now To Ask Them To Pay For More When Ray Tracing Was A Feature That Was supposed to be included & the consoles couldn’t even do what it was meant to do is how bad Both Sony & Microsoft Bought into the Ray Tracing Hype. The average gamer doesn’t have the best gpu & cpu in their computer, but this whole boom did force companies to think outside the box and release better hardware & software in their systems and SOCs. But Ps5 Pro & forking over almost 1000$ dollars just for semi improvement of ray tracing support & a dye expansion OF the SOC, is not worth it. However this will help Sony improve Backwards Compatibility with ps3 & ps2 games as the SOC was Build With Legacy Consoles in Mind.

@@50rads It's a Scam even for now It's like you buy 4090 and when you play the game it gives you like 40 fps in path tracing in cyperpunk 1440p, and in normal ray tracing you get only 70 fps. Bro that is not acceptable to me and yes i don't have 4090 don't plan on getting one. For me rt will matter when it will have visual impact on gameplay elements not just for a tech demo experience. I am not blaming anybody that like 4090 I like looking in the mirror with ultra raytracing too but after 5 minutes i just turn it off for a high refresh rate gaming experience. You know what i hate the most about the new games and technologies ? it's the fsr and dlss or any upscaling that they do it is a bigger scam that ray tracing why do they have to put it in every game ? I have enjoyed Resident evil 4 but that game has such bad image quality bro even with 200 percent image quality the graininess doesn't go away and I found no mods for it to go away totally a bad experience. Nowadays most developer seems to not care about image quality even GTA V has clear image but not RDR2 plus when you play older games like dishonored Hitman 2016 shadow of tomb raider you will clearly see the difference the only good looking game recently I have played is Horizon forbidden west but that too have the graininess and it becomes apparent when you play in the desert section. oh yes totally forgot about Ghost of tsushima that was good as well.

Don't get me wrong I like looking in mirror in ultra raytracing or driving in rain but that's for 5 minutes after that I play the game on decent fps with decent visual quality for me it is high textures with no blur no taa no or low post processing and no dof. Do you know what is a bigger disappointment than ray tracing? it is the upscaling tech like fsr and dlss they just ruin the image quality making is a blurry mess and people seems to not care do they not see it or something. I like re4 remake but even with 200 percent image scaling it still delivers a grainy looking image and it does not go away no matter what I did. Games are becoming like that nowadays and nor the players not the developers seems to care about the Image quality plus the shenanigans of epic Unreal engine which is pushing Image quality down the drain in the name of optimisation that actually degrade performance (increase rendering time and input lag) and make the image quality even worse. The issue becomes apparent when you play older games like shadow of tomb raider hitman 2016. Most of the new games have this upscaling thing hardcoded in engine and some kind of TAA implementation that actually degrade image quality. Even If I get a 4090 or 5090 I will still have to deal with subpar quality games, I doubt the game I am waiting for (MGS Delta) will solve any of these issues and I don't need a high end gpu to play old games with good Image quality so Unless GTA 6 is something different I don't think I will ever buy a high end gpu anymore.

Oh hey Pc is still where it’s at and always has been. But also consoles will always be admired as custom SOCs just have more games as first party titles and all, but even more recently with the boom of PCs during Covad, There Isn’t really such a thing as first party titles. Game pass and Ps Plus Have Changed The Game to Streaming Games & Or Having more Options To Play Games.
