Love the tarot stickers. Just got the new kindle paperwhite (which i love). But I'm thinking of getting this as well. I love the annotation features. But kindle unlimited is also a great deal. Looks like I'll just have to have both lol

Speaking of para-social relationships...I just bought a nonfiction book called Keanu Reeves Is Not in Love with You. Who could resist a title like that. I was cracking up as I hit "add to cart." I am hoping to get to that one over the holidays. I am so glad you've included some talk in Internet safety. It's something not everyone thinks of. In the US especially, we are a very trusting culture...too much so, at times.

So I had a good long look at the books on my shelves and even those in my walk in closet!😂 I chose 25 books that I know I will really love to read and I made a list. I also found a few that I can re-home. I haven’t purchased any books but, I have been hitting the Libby App and my physical library, hard. I had placed a number of titles on hold and they are all coming in. I have been reading them but none on my list. I will get there, though. This is fun! And I am over my reading slump! 📚😀

RE: Horror reads Will have to restart the read what I own challenge. did some stress book buying. I am giving myself a pass on this failure to uphold the book buying ban this week. I never read a Sweet Valley High book but I remember there were scads for sale when I worked for Crown. That third cover! One of my University professors was writing her PHD on Lilith in American literature.

Gotta be disloyal and go with the British covers. There is one with a pair of brass knuckles and another with a razor blade. The UK Sweet Valley was a dark and dangerous place. Hope you enjoy the reads.

Lilith is on my shelf-not because of its genre but because of my long interest in the place of the Lilith story in Judaism. I don’t think I will be getting to it right away but I’m eager to see more about your thoughts.

I adore historical fantasy! Circe is the only one ive read of those and I loved it (song of Achilles not so much) A few faves from this year -The Weaver and the Witch Queen by Genevieve Gornichec -She Would be King by Wayétu Moore -TheBird King by Willow Wilson -The Fox Wife by Yangsze Choo -The Amulet of Samarkand by Johathan Stroud -Bwtween two Fires by Christopher Buehlman -Queen of the Conquered by Kacen Callander And a bunch more that bend the genre definitions a bit more.
