Nice one Michael......
Thanks, should of dressed up lol
Now.....there's an idea.....I could dress up like a sax and try to get the wife to blow me........Lol
Great i know im late like by 10 year but amazing also do you play Alto Sax?
Yes I also play alto, I started with alto, as I love rockin roll I got myself a tenor. I rarely play, I should play more.
@@gunship999 Thats cool i play the alto sax right now but im planning that when im done im going to try learning that Tenor. I also do that samething i don't play much but i try.
@@Ithinksomethinggoeshere Quite easy to change over to playing tenor, just a tiny bit more air needed, also Bb so have to remember when swapping between the two instruments
@@gunship999 Hey man thanks for the tip ill remeber that i always wanted to play the Tenor but i thought it was super hard so i started with alto to work my way up
@@Ithinksomethinggoeshere your welcome, if you need help get in touch
This is best but too fast. Good luck.
chandani rathnayake thanks
I have my cover of the wonder of you on trombone
The dislikes are because people love to hate. I'm an adult beginner and thinking about getting a Berg so I'm focused on the sound. Your video give me the impression that the Berg is not as bright as I feared it might be. I prefer a warmer tone and I have several mouthpieces for that but I'd also like a metal piece that's a bit brighter that a Link.. If I come across a reasonably priced Berg I may give it a shot. Thanks for posting and keep on playing!
Needs a lot of air on bottom notes so make sure you choose the tip opening for you, mine is equal to an 8* so to wide really but got very cheap, it's a great mouthpiece & sound on computer certainly doesn't do it justice. I have an ottolink as well but berg is a cleaner tone & cuts through a band with guitars. Thanks for comment, hopes this helps with your choice & I was also an adult beginner, remember to enjoy it & not get wrapped up in technical stuff to much.
the best instrumental. Congratulations!!! (From Greece).
beaucoup trop mécaniquement scolaire...pas possible d'apprécier ce bec dans ces conditions
Michael, Where did you get your sheet music and the backing track? I sure would like to get ahold of it. I love this piece! Good Job and thank You!
Backing track is from a program called Band in a Box & made by myself, sheet music out of an old book
brill
nice you should put your stuff on fanderlism you go on it through face book
Thanks Pete, not heard of fanderlism is that like youtube ?
Acquired an old King alto unexpectedly this Xmas and after trying a Runyon 22 (great mp) on it was about to go for a Link STM - my favourite tenor mp - when I came across Aubra Graves who sounds amazing on Bergs. As luck would have it there was a 90/2 SMS on ebay - so... offer accepted - it arrived today and I have to say sounds excellent with its lush-to-edgy dynamics. Not sure I'd want one for tenor though - an STM seems required to bring out the full richness of tone but for alto this Berg will take some beating. Not sure how old mine is - seems to have some age on it - but it is a beautifully crafted object as well as a superbly responsive one. Gotta blow it though!
Great job! Is it possible to get the chords plz?
a little bit too... mechanical
Drop your jaw, brother! Your embouchure needs some work! Try dropping your jaw a bit and practicing long tones.
on aimerai bien voir les deux mains..
Not sure if dislikes are for me or mouthpiece but never mind was just trying it out
Why all these dislikes? :/
Sax practice

Where did you get the sheet music to this video???? Can you maybe put a link or something like that? Unless it costs money.
@bonsaiboy999 Thanks I love this one, its only a backing track messing about.
amazing well done sir
Very good!
my fav song, nice! Dont stop playing.... I m learning to play the sax too, been 3 years already but still shy to upload my solo video here : )
nice...i also have a video of this song using my new Medeli piano, tenor sax...thanks..
@MrAnglosaxman yes is a Yani T901 the backing track is Band in a Box 2005 software great for practice the melody shows up on the screen & highlights the notes, great for music reading exercise. Interested in any exercises & by the way keep all the saxes :)
Hey got a chance to listen what are you using for backing track ? I have some great tone building exercises if you are interested. That is a Yani?I will post something new on my Martin with a Brilhart I just got.Keep playing and enjoy !
@MrAnglosaxman The Berg is a 8*, you need a pair of Iron Lungs for it :) I bought it off ebay for £50 which was a bargain so I'm told, it's the Bullet Version in mint condition.
Hey I used to play a Berg 95 2sms really like my Runyon Custom these days.I have been playing for 2 years as a returning player.I played in School and had not played for 25 years. You commented you liked the tone of my Martin,I have spent a great deal of time doing long tone exercises.
Love it!!!!!!
