Awesome technique. ❤ Well done. Thank you for sharing. I'm certainly using this technique in my next case of frenectomy. One observation: placing a Stay suture in the anterior aspect of the tongue would have been most helpful in manipulating the tongue especially during the suturing. Dr Ohioma. 🇳🇬 Oral Surgeon.

Amazing surgery!! Curious about nerve function with the use of particulate graft. Khoury advises against the use of biomaterials in proximity to the nerve as the particulate graft can invade the nerve and cause permanent neurosensory deficit. He says this in the context of if the nerve is encountered during a block harvest. He cautions against placing any biomaterials to reconstruct the harvest site. What are your thoughts on that? I suppose GBR is done around the mental nerve all the time without neurosensory loss. Wondering what your thoughts are.. Did this patient have complete neurosensory recovery?

Madam what company gbr kit u used for this surgery. And y u not done ridge splitting and expansion followed by immediate implant placement and as per my knowledge allograft blocks are available y u used autograft where second surgical site needed .

שלום דוקטור דבורה. יש לי טינטון שהתחיל אחרי טיפול שיניים. הרופא ביקש ממני לפתוח פה גדול גדול כדי שתהיה לו גישה לשן הפנימית והפה שלי היה פתוח כמו פה של תנין במשך דקות ארוכות וממש כאב לי במפרקי הלסת בזמן הטיפול.יומיים אחרי התחיל הטינטון המעצבן.השאלה היא כזו:האם יש סיכוי שהטינטון התחיל בגלל שמפרקי הלסת נפגעו?קראתי באינטרנט שמישהו כתב שאם אני דוחף את הסנטר אחורה ועוצמת הטינטון מתגברת אז הטינטון מגיע מהלסת,ובאמת כל פעם שאני דוחף את הסנטר אחורה העוצמה והתדר של הטינטון עולים משמעותית.לדעתך האם זה באמת מהלסת,ואם כן,האם יש מה לעשות בנידון?אשמח מאוד לתשובתך🙏

Hello, i'm getting a split tongue procedure soon and cutting the frenulum is a possibility to make it deeper. Could you answer me if there would be any difficulty in cutting the very front of the frenulum? like just the "light" front tissue and not the very deep where it is what i believe are nerves? i dont have a tongue tie but the split would be way shorter without the frenulum step. Sorry if the questions bothers you, wasn't the intention

Aren't the nerves going to be scarred along with all the other tissue that's there? Or are you putting the nerves back in it's canal and cover it up with bone? Once you move the nerve and after the implant is placed in, where does it go - the video skipped that part.
