The thing is that since The US is a different country, it can't directly run another country for it is occupation, but the US is terrible at creating a functional local government, all of them are eithor incompetent or corrupt or both, just like South Korea, South Vietnam, and yes, South Korea was an oppresive authoritarian country just decades ago. The problem that's caused this difference in behaviour is unfortunately founded by the mistreatment of women. I in no way mean that it's RIGHT for women to be able to behave this way without being judged the same as a man, but the fact of the matter is that women have withstood a lot of abuse for generations. It's an instinct at this point. I was never told to specifically be wary of any particular type of person, in fact I don't think I was outright told to be wary of anything in particular by my parents. It all came from classmates and media, and personal experience. You'd be surprised by the answer you'll get if you ask a woman "when was the first time you realised you were being viewed sexually?" - For me the answer is around 8 or 9. Until we as a species are able to create a safer environment for EVERYONE, these sorts of inequalities and double standards will continue to reign supreme.

I worked with a boy that also usdd to have these "moments of clarity". Not nearly on the same level. He was himself a good chunk of the time, but when he would get upset he would lose his mind. After he would finally calm down he would say the most self aware stuff, only to backtrack an hour later saying he didn't remember or it wasn't his fault that he had thrown the temper tantrum.

I've personally experienced a version of this with autism, my level of mental clarity fluctuates gradually over time. Often I won't even notice until I'm listening to music and realize my mind is processing the lyrics of a song more "delicately", to best describe it. When my psyche is clear, I get the impression that the "me" that was in control before wasn't really me, like I was on mental autopilot. I know this to be an illusion, though, I know it's still the same me making decisions and responding to the world around me regardless of my level of awareness. It also isn't anywhere as drastic of a shift as what's described in this video, which comes down to my autism being mild, and cerebral palsy itself being a much more intense disorder.

Its not mundane its the safety of children.

I think it is a social nicety is a thing that all people regardless of gender or age should practice. Misunderstanding happens all the time, especially when you are at an area where more skin is shown. Many people are not comfortable being stared or gawked at. So i think it is important that we show the same respect and privacy to men as due women.
