ark Jackson is the best candidate for head coach. in my Charles Barkley voice "I guarantee it" would be the right thing for the Lakers he would get much respect from his players and w
The Nets "sold" Dr. J to Philly in 1976. The passed on Kobe in 1996 The Nets would have skipped on Jordan if they had that opportunity. The Nets always seem to be doing Net things and they still haven't won the NBA Championship.
The one thing that made Iverson such a crowd favorite was that he NEVER layed down on the job. To the contrary, he gave everything during every minute of every game. Lots of respect for AI!
Growing up with the class of 84 my pride says the 84 draft was better but I have to admit 96 was the top draft from top to bottom hands down and Hip Hop Music was on fire that year as well
The class of 84 had Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, Karl Malone, John Stockton, Kevin Willis and more. Those 5 alone where stronger than the top 5 in 96 but 96 WAS deeper than 84, no doubt about that.
The fact that out of all team the Clippers had the nerve to test his mental toughness instead of going for his John Wallace talent is laughable knowing their history and future from that point forward
Knowing what you know... how would you re-pick the 1996 draft class? Mine will be like this... 1 Kobe Bryant 2 Allen Iverson 3 Ray Allen 4 Steve Nash 5 Ben Wallace 6 Stephon Marbury 7 Jermaine O'Neal 8 Peja Stojaković 9 Marcus Camby 10 Antoine Walker
I remember Jayz Reasonable Doubt had just came out when we were watching the 96 draft. We were listening to Jay and watching the draft at the same time. I felt like I was there. Then our local star Jermaine O’Neal got drafted. He lived in my neighborhood and bought a midnight blue surburbsn and was back in town like every week that summer beating down the block with that Reasonable Doubt and ATLiens. 96
You can tell that they were all appreciative of getting a chance to play at the highest level. Players nowadays just take it for granted. These older guys were grateful for their opportunity to join the league. Just a better class of athlete back then.
Ben Wallace started off at Auburn where he was supposed to play football. Imagine ben on that d line. Ben Wallace Terrell Owen’s bo Jackson Julio jones Phillip rivers Bart star Charles barkely and Robert horry’s highschool’s were all in the same division. That
The Lakers really got over getting Kobe and Gusol later down the line.
Jerry west worked his magic and somehow got both shaq and kobe in the same off season 😂 fucking lakers man... i swear
07:45 This is what racism looks like.

Allen showing love to his guys is why A.I is loved by his generation. Unapologetically real
Can you believe how many teams passed up on Kobe??
Allen showing love to his guys is why A.I is loved by his generation. Unapologetically real
It's great to be Adam Sandler he does all the casting and gets to go on location and make out with Brooklyn Decker and Jennifer Aniston
March Madness was obviously crazy that year too

As Knicks fan we picked the wrong Wallace
Nobody raped as good as Kobe.

Thats The greatest pick ever by the lakers
Wow this draft was fudging Loaded.
Bet Stephon never thought he would speak fluent Chinese one day and became a legend there
damn and to think Kerry Kittles was what they needed over Kobe. imagine them looking back now 5 rings later for kobe.
This is why I say NBA live 2003 was the best basketball game ever
AI was that dude in the draft but jelly bean came out of nowhere and became the black mamba.
Yeah, that draft was crazy. unmatched.
SAR- SHAREEF ABDUR RAHIM was a beast!! a forgotten player in a lot of peoples minds but he was tuff
Any person that can dunk isnt a little guy! But for Basketball i get it 6 feet is a little guy
The one thing that made Iverson such a crowd favorite was that he NEVER layed down on the job. To the contrary, he gave everything during every minute of every game. Lots of respect for AI!
1984 draft was better. It had arguably the four best NBA players to ever play their positions: Jordan, Olajuwon, Barkley, and Stockton.
Junk Yard dog!
Ehhh nah the 03 draft class was better. That class has tons of NBA champions and the Goat… Allen iverson only made it to the finals like one time.
Growing up with the class of 84 my pride says the 84 draft was better but I have to admit 96 was the top draft from top to bottom hands down and Hip Hop Music was on fire that year as well

What if Kobe was drafted 10-12 so the charlotte deal wouldn’t have happened
Late 70's kids Advanced group. Geniuses

Ernie describing announcing the draft. It's not some noble act, you're getting paid and sitting in a chair. 4 hours is too easy.
Allen Iverson was every kid born in the 90s favorite. He gave smaller guys hope.
In 5yrs there will be someone like AI. Small, insanely quick, insanely smart, insanely dedicated.
All things considered, it hurts for the Knicks...
