I would be glad to give you what pointers I've learned in the year since I started. Go in expecting not to find much. But being there for the journey. That way you still win each time. A big big thing is until you have control over the out put and input of your pan. Fill them only a third to half full. And stratification is what's going to help separate the heavies from the light. I personally give my pan a good shaking. Even put my hand in while shaking to be able to feel the dirt moving. Rinse the top off 3 to 4 dips. Then stratification again. Go until you are comfortable with what's in the bowl. Then wash back. A little at a time. There is way more information than this. But might help you get there. Watch videos. Ask Jeff Williams, Dan hurd, vogus prospecting and many many more. Might try paydirt. Look for ones with a guaranteed amount.
