Sorry for the late response, but thanks! It’s been awhile since I’ve done this run so this answer might be slightly wrong, but I believe the reason for swapping out goyle is due to Rex’s confusion attacks. Goyle is there for pure support so if it gets hit with confusion it’ll waste valuable FP on a weak attack. This is the same reason I start spinax in the az and immediately swap it out, as I wanna get a couple of turns in with lambeo who is stronger before he gets confused and bails to the EZ. Hope this cleared that up!

The jist of the trick is that when you try to dig close to a hole you've already made, the game pushes you back to a normalized distance from the hole so the animation makes sense. We exploit this by standing at around a specific point, digging the hole on one side, then going to the other side quickly and digging into the same hole. This pushes the character into the rock far enough to be able to clip into the other side of the rock (getting out is the same way). There is also currently a theorized way to clip through the Mt. Lavaflow walls like this as well (that you clean the keys for with rex in chapter 6 before Igno) but no runs have been completed with this strat, as you have to dig two holes really precisely in a really short amount of time, 3 times (people have done it in TASes and on its own)

Interesting, I jus find the magnetizing digging funny as a kid and I came here just to see the digging spots so I can unlock some vivos early for a big roster peeps could pick from without havin to worry about how far in the game for those is xD
