Sweet axe brother
Thank you
and God bless you too !
Thank you
Ive had a couple of 80s 62s, both really nice. They went from '84 just after the JV series to around 1991. most had FENDER stamped on the neckplate and were dated on the heel just like the old 60s ones.
Yes sir
A buddy of mine had an ‘85 sunburst one like that back in the day… great guitar. This basic rig which was considered “budget” back in the 80’s sure sounds good. Nice playing btw…
Thank you for the kind words
I have a burst Tele but with a maple neck and no binding. I really like the rosewood neck and binding on yours.
Hey thanks bro, Telecaster guitars 🎸 are awesome.
Did you play Gilley's? Saw the case. I was there many times back in the day.
I was friends with Mickey in Branson MO. He tried to hire me back in 93 or 94 to work for him in Branson at his theater. I should do a video on Mickey while he was in Branson. Thank you for watching!!
Put up some tracks please ✌️
OK, Thank you
Throw the tracks up please!
I can do that, thank you for watching!
Nice playing!
Thank you
Absolutely cool!!! See you next week and God is still in control!!
@@StephenMarr-ud1fv thank you
Could be dirt or DC on the wiper of the pot. Coupling caps are suppose to block dc but an ‘80s amp may be seeing some leakage. Got a video coming out soon about. 67’ bandmaster, may be up your alley 😏
Hey man, I appreciate it bro, thank you
Sweeeet brother 👏
@@MsLuke56 thank you
Good one. Gonna work on that lick today. Yes, praying for Florida and the southeast states. I think I like that '69 the best, sounds great through the Peavey. The fretboard looks new on that thing. That amp has good reverb also. I use "Deoxit" on my potentiometers to clean them up. If I were close by, I'd come by and clean up the pots on that Peavey for ya. Sounds great. Keep 'em coming.
Thank you for watching and the nice words.
I like what you are doing in this video. Some playing and some talking. Mix it up a bit. Prayers for Florida. My relatives are there, hunkered down and gonna ride it out. Pray they will be safe.

@@telecasterguy thanks man! I go to buy one
Thanks for this video. I struggle with chicken pickin, it's more like chicken pickle with me.
Thank you for watching and your comment!
Another awesome video 👍🏻 Do you find yourself toggling to the bridge position the majority of the time? I know it likely varies, depending on what a song calls for. I’m probably a bit more partial to the middle position, which is a change from when I first got into Teles…the neck position was my original go-to. Your channel and talent has really influenced this hardcore hard rock guy to appreciate and continue to practice and learn country licks. Thank you for what you do!
@@FenderTeleDeluxe Thank you for the kind words. I like the bridge pickup the best most of the time.
Always good brother

@@Vern859 I get it 😆 🤣
It can be late at night, hours after a long, hard day at work…whenever I watch your latest video, I have to drag my butt downstairs and plug in my Tele to practice whichever lick you’ve shared. Thank you, for all you do!
@FenderTeleDeluxe that's so cool. Thank you for the awesome comment.
Great lick,,,damn fly

61 les paul jr. looked like a s.g. gone but still got soapbar pickup..got to rewind someday..
Nice
love my tele..57
SWEET
I'm sure you do
I’m opposite. I have a bunch of great vintage (American) Strats and Teles. I assembled a Tele from raw un-painted parts. It cost about $800 to build. Made a barncaster. It’s all I play now.
@@bigpapi2658 Sweet, thanks for your comment.
‘63 Tele, rosewood fretboard, Aqua green. Traded for an SG style Les Paul. Worse trade I ever made. Lol
@@rodmays7559 Man I get it
My top 3 would probably be: 1910 Martin 0-18, 1973 Ramirez 1A (Brazilian Rosewood) and a rosewood board parts Tele I loved. That Tele had a Peter Florace Voodoo bridge pickup that was dynamite and had a Firebird neck pickup. Probably the most versatile guitar I've ever owned. I've now built a maple parts Tele (Alder body) I love with Budz Danocaster pickups. I won't make the same mistake twice. What I've noticed is I've sold a lot of Strats and don't miss the typically even though I love strats. With Teles, it's a different kind of bond almost. To most people that would sound crazy but I think you understand. Oh, also a Huss and Dalton Traditional OM that was pretty special.
@kylecravens6501 thank you for your comment and watching 👀
Wow everyone has a Tele SOME DAY
@@retnal08 Telecasters are awesome guitars.
What color is that tele? Is it just a butterscotch blonde with a white pickgaurd?
What a fantastic video have a great day also happy first day also qeek week of fall ❤😊
Hey thank you for watching my friend
No one will believe this but I own a 72 Thinline Squire (quarter hollow) that I gutted for a parts'o'caster and put a sick Warmoth neck and Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates double humbuckers in it, and when the builder gave it to me (from City Music in Asheville- now out of business) he told me that the push pull pot he added used to belong to Les Paul. And I agree, it sounds SICK with the double humbuckers and it coil splits. I can it my Spender Les0'Caster. :) Love your vids and style Telecaster Guy. Keep it up! More lessons and any upcoming travel dates please!

Bolt on vs glued on necks maybe
@@MsLuke56 maybe so
I believe in being open minded too. I'm still carrying amps for now (66 Bassman), but I'm noticing more venues, that have their own house system, are requiring 'no amps' on stage. I've gotten by (so far) by using my quilter mach II turned at me for my monitor, and direct out to house. I know if I'm able to keep it up for a while, I'm going to have to bite the bullet! I just don't like my tone being in someone else hand, to send back to me!
I love the Kemper for what it is but also love the tubes. Thank you so much for watching 👀
Frankenstein's monster was bad ass ; did not the great EVH do this to his Kramer ? Sounds real good 👍👍
Thank you so much for watching 👀 & the comments!
I think teles sound so good with humbuckers because the body is already pretty resonant and the different orientation of the pickup to the bridge keeps the mid range honk without the harsh highs that some single coils can have.
I think you're 💯 right. Thanks for watching & your comment
Can I see more of the pluck hand
