This was done in Ritchie Valens' garage as he practiced the song. Forty years ago Donna Fox ( Ritchie Valens girlfriend) gave a cassette tape of the recording to my friend Tom Posio (great sax player who was with The Classics IV when he met Donna). I recorded my friends doing this on 9/30/23 in Leland, NC. The group performs at a number of venues in southeastern NC, and are also available to do weddings, private parties, etc. Great people that put on a great show! Individually they are Cindy Young (keyboards), Tom Posio (saxophone), Sam Falvo (drums), and Bill Coffey (guitar).

A very rare lead by Nils on this one! My friends the Chaperals from Wolfsburg Germany are celebrating their 35th Anniversary this year! The song "Motorcycle" was done by Tico and the Triumphs in 1961, and the German version by Benny Quick in 1962. This is a newly-recorded video by the Chaperals.

I can’t help but smile listening to and watching this video. Kathy Young is wonderful and the harmony terrific. I watch her do this song in 1961 at a Murray the K show at The Brooklyn Paramount. She was only 16 years old. Those memories never fade and I cherish each one.

These guys are fantastic Acapella Singers! I can't say enough about the lead singer Jordi. he's a rare talent for sure. He sings these covers songs better than the original singers. I'm a singer myself so i know what he's doing and how difficult it is. Search on UA-cam for the group Earth Angels and there you will see their own page full of songs. +a note when you search do not search for the "The New Earth Angels" It's just "Earth Angels"
