First model train layout - N Scale 3' x 10'

This was my first ever model train layout. I built it for my son. It measures 3 x 10 feet. Due to the size I got away with cheaper trees and bushes when possible. The mountains are covered in homemade ground and dyed foam, and we tried out some cheap ebay trees for now.

I just stumbled onto your great video and was most impressed. I too have spent lots of time looking at all of the Steve's Trains videos and have thought this one layout the one for me. I am trying to figure out how to have three small trains on the layout with two running. Thanks for your ideas and for sharing.

Gives me some more ideas of where to take my 2'x4' layout. Was going to go full on into a 4x4 thing, but I figure start out small for practice. That grade separated MTA line from the freight right-of-way is impressive!!
