I remember caving there back in the 1970's with the Cork Speleological Group!

@@martinrea8548 Gosh, Martin it was so long ago I've forgotten. I have been living in west Cork since the late 70's, so where the Beaumont quarry entrance is I have forgotten. If you mean where we went caving at the time, we went to caves in Ovens, Imokilly, Gortmore in Mallow, Mitchelstown,caves (3 of them) Midleton college ( underground stream) and many others.
