Just ordered a Novax baritone guitar a few days ago. Literally cannot wait until it arrives. I'm 30 years old now, and since middle school Staind and Korn have been my favorite rock bands. The Staind guitarist is one of if not my biggest guitar idol. Luckily I have his signature Ibanez MMM1, his signature PRS and now I'll have a novax. Mike Mushok played a Novax baritone guitar in the early years of Staind. Not sure why he didn't stick with the guitar, but hopefully one day he'll answer that question. I'd also like to know why he left Ibanez too. His guitar tone from their first 3 albums (Dysfunction, Break the Cycle and 14 Shades of Grey) was probably my favorite of all time. Anyhow, the fact that I was even able to come across a Novax baritone guitar online blew my mind. Then to realize how long it'd been sitting online, and that it was in basically brand new condition, I had to pull the plug. It was very expensive, and probably the most $ I'll ever spend on a guitar in my life, so I hope its worth it. I've read about them and they do seem to be top notch quality. Coincidentally, the maker of these guitars, Ralph Novax, actually works at the store (on Saturdays only I believe) where I bought this guitar...Mckenzie River Music. They are also apparently the official seller of Novax guitars. Knowing all of that definitely made me comfortable going forward with the purchase.
