@@Aarimerton Thanks
Did that Jeep steering shaft hold up good? And did it help with the drivaabiltiy? Im wanting to add it to my 93 gmc c1500. Ty
@@scraplifetrashtocash4551 It worked out great! It tightened up the steering and gave me more control. Just be sure your steering components aren’t all worn out ( tie rods , ball joints, pitman arm, idler arm) Thanks for watching! Hope this answers your questions

@arodobs9745 awesome
How do you replace the bumper filler end pieces? (The pieces under the fender)
@@KingJasonOriginal Sorry for the late reply, but they’re held in place by two 7mm screws
do you have a video of the what you did on your radiator support to make it work?
Will a 93 ss grill fit to a 96 k3500?
@@ivanestrada3814 yes 👍
@@arodobs9745 thank you
I put my fender filler on, but one side is lower than the other side so it dosent fit with bumper filler, any suggestions?
Did you get the fender fillers for 1994-98 model?
Didn't show how it fit in.. 😮
Should of got better video wasn’t interested in only seeing your back , was interested in the project with up close videos ,, sux ,,
I have a 98 GMC Yukon SLT all stock. I want to convert the front grille to a Chevy. I ordered a 98 Chevy 1500 grille online but it does not line up. Do I need a different bumper filler? Basically, my question is....What do I need to make it fit properly?
The filler is the same whether Chevy or gmc. Aftermarket grilles sometimes don’t fit well, so finding an original factory grille in good condition is a better route to take. I’ve run into that problem before.
@@arodobs9745 Oh, OK. Thank you.
Nice thanks for the help I have 1989 gmc single cab c1500 shorty
Big Red is a great truck 👍
Thanks!
What's going on you get this thing LS swapped yet
Worthless video u didn’t show how the filler installed
Bro didn’t even show us how to place it in
I have a 90 gmc and want to buy a 94 gmc grill how would I make that work
My grille has had a gap on the drivers side fender, started taking it apart and my filler piece has lost a screw and is not secured on that side 😂
So I have a 88 obs. I changed the grill for a 94 style and what I noticed is that when I installed th new headlamps they don't have a place to screw them down and I had issues removing the grill and filler together. So do I need to change the radiator support and the bumper brackets so It can clear when I remove the grill . Or what should I do?
To be honest I’ve never messed with an 88 before but on my 90 I remember the filler piece had like 6 clips holding it to the grille and it was also screwed to the fender corner pieces. Changing the radiator support would fix all your issues but it is a lot of work. Did your headlights come with brackets?
@arodobs9745 Yes, the headlights came with brackets . My 88 is the same body style as the 90 . @88-OBSMZ
@@Travelwithmagalysergio I think the 88-89 didn’t come with holes for the headlights. You went from glass headlights to the plastic, right?
@arodobs9745 yes sr.
This was very helpful. Fixing a friend's aborted repair from random parts found in the bed. And I've been scratching my head fer why I have two different fillers the same color. I wasnt sure if they needed to overlay each other or what. Its been driving me nuts. Thanks for taking the time to make this!
Yes Sir ! Absolutely no problem!
Does the grill filler hold the bottom portion of the grill in place? I bought a grill and one side is loose and sticks out I’m thinking of buying a new grill filler.
Yes sir. Sometimes a reproduction grille has fitment issues. So if you can an original, it’ll definitely fit better.
Will a 91 grill fit a 98 tahoe?
Yes 👍
Does the grill have to be removed to attach the front bumper filler panel?
Yes it does
Man that's a f****** before and after picture of you putting it on your didn't show me s*** where you bolted it or nothing. I just wanted to see what you screwed it into cuz mine don't have it on there to begin with no biggie next time just maybe show where you screwed it into. Thanks
The bumper filler piece clips on to the bottom of the grille
@@arodobs9745 appreciate it. My parts finally came in. I hit a deer having to put in inner and outer brackets. Driver side fender. I was just kind of seeing what I was going to need.or order I don't no if they pay anything for those videos but I thought about making one of my own too help the next guy out. They don't hardly have anything on 93's
@@butchbrekle-mx6vr so the 1988-93 filler piece attaches to the grille with push-in clips and also screws into the radiator support with 7mm screws.
@@arodobs9745 appreciate it buddy. Yeah I took it off last night and that's exactly what it is. I think I'm going to have to order that radiator piece too more themore I take off the wores it gets you wouldn't think a deer could do that much damage running 45, especially on a older model truck as you know, those inner brackets or pretty heavy duty.
That truck is dope!... Nice fix!!
Cunningham machine steering shafts are the best on the market.
you didnt show shit
Great info. Didn't see this mentioned on other videos. Thought I was losing my mind that the new grille wouldn't fit on my 88! Thank you!
You’re welcome
That plastic valence strip and the plastic filler pieces on the ends are just one pain in the ass bad idea so far as I'm concerned. Just give the bumper a little tap and you've probably cracked one of them. And they're not cheap to replace. I wish someone would sell a metal valence strip and that would be enough. To hell with the end fillers.
Hey bro how u and the fam been
Been good. How about you?
@@arodobs9745 that's good I've been alright I don't get on Instagram anymore so haven't heard from u how's bigred
@@CCAutoWorks Funny thing I don’t get on instagram either. Big Red is good. It got a brand new windshield the other day and I recently lifted the frontend 2 inches.
@@arodobs9745 that's sweet you should have made a video of the install
I can order a brand new grill and some of thr damn tabs will come broken as I always just screw the grill in.
So if put a 93 gmc grill on my 94 chevy it should fit no problem?
I'm even more confused AFTER watching
I have a 1993 ss grill But my radiator support is a 1994 what filler would fit good
An 1988-93 filler fits best
What's the difference in the corner pieces from early to late
The fitment where the center piece connects to the corner differs in the 1994-98 compared to the older 1988-93
Checkout my previous video “ Installing my bumper filler”
Quick question, you have a 6 inch flip kit on the back? And 2 inch in the front, so you have a 2 - 6 drop
Yes that’s right. It gives me room up front for full lock to lock steering.
@@arodobs9745 oh OK and you 22's all around
@@chevyxrz yeah and the tires are a little meaty too
@@arodobs9745 it looks nice bro, I was just surprised that you had a 2 6 drop. That's the reason why I asked because usually it's a 4 6 drop or 5 7 drop. I have a 2 4 drop on my obs with 20 inch wheels. But I wanted to go lower with a 4 6.
@@chevyxrz 20s with a 4/6 drop would look nice 👍 . I eventually want to go 2 inches lower in the front and swap to 20s too

What lowering kit you got
Belltech 6 inch flip kit and belltech 2 inch front lowering springs.
Does this remove some play? Was thinking of updating the steering box but May look into this instead.
Yes this will definitely remove some play.
O que lsso
Wow that's Crazy, Good Channel
I gave you one. 117 now
Have you ever installed the 4 light system like on the 88 and 89 Chevy obs? If so what all is needed to make that change on 90 thru 98?
No I've not. But all you need is the headlight buckets that go behind the headlamps for adjustment and then of course the sealed beam headlamps. You may need new wiring pigtails for the sealed beam headlamps as well. Hope this helps.
Do you know where I can find a fiberglass tonneau cover that will fit a Chevy obs short fleet side bed?
No I don’t. Sorry bro
@@arodobs9745 thank you have a great day.
@@johnwilson5240 And you as well
Any reason for the 4l80 rebuild? Usually those are great transmissions
We’ll I didn’t know much about the condition it was in when I purchased the truck. Just that it had sat for 10 years.
Quick dumb question, what are the corner pieces called and is that something I can get on Amazon?
I think they’re called bumper filler end caps and I’m sure you can get them on Amazon
