I saw a trailer demolition derby like this in Auckland in the early 2000s. Haven’t laughed so much until I watched this one. Dunno why watching something that has been assembled with great care and expense explode instantly into wreckage is funny, it just is!

I used to live literally across the street from Rockford Speedway - local racing every Friday and Saturday night! The local police used to park in my driveway and I'd bring them coffee - it kept the "over-enthusiastic" race fans out of my yard. Aside from the races, it was on the edge of town next to a state park so it was a pretty quiet place to live.

Hickory motor speedway is a toilet that hasn't had a dollar invested into it since the 50s. Show was ok at best. I've been to a lot better. Announcer was a complete moron that was only there to promote his church. Parking was a total cluster f**k. Cops directing traffic were in a panic like it's the first time they've ever done this. Paid for "VIP" parking then got u-turned to a closed entrance where people had to drive across a ditch to get in. I'd pass if I had the chance to. One "monster truck" that half-assed it then "broke" and quit. Yay!
