They take so much risk in negotiation through dark smokes emanating out of the flames where the visibility of the terrain ahead is reduced to zero. By simply the local knowledge of the area and a quick glance of the area to cover before negotiating a curve, they manage to fly past.

This is nice but ineffective, the best way to put out wildfires is with actual bombs with the pink fire-retardant agent in powder form with an explosive core, each bomb will h fins to make it steerable and a GPS targeting system
