Actually pretty happy that they scrapped that scene, it doesn't make any sense that Odin doesn't just erase them with Gungnir, the film version where he and Thor simply come too late is much more emotionally impactful, if either one of them would have been there it would have been over for Malekith, and imagine if both arrived earlier how that would have ended

Malekith really is kinda the worst villain in the MCU, his goal of “turning the universe to one of darkness” is so bland man. At least with the villain from doctor strange he had some nice dialogue when talking to stephen.

You can’t not love how Frigga owns him. One of my favorite scenes in all of the MCU and it’s because they do the warrior queen justice. Crazy to think that her preferred fighting style is through magic and not melee and she still made easy work out of Malekith
