Have you ever tried crocheting to cover the handles?

I just picked up this shawl pattern at Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago, and they've updated it with new pictures, and now they've actually written every row out step by step instead of telling you to repeat the steps from the beginning of the pattern. They also say to skip 5 on those rows that you end up with 5 remaining stitches before the center turn (row 22 for example) I'm curious whether it makes much diffeence in the look if you do it your way with the extra single crochets or theirs where you just skip to the middle sc, ch 2, sc. I searched out and found your video because I'm fairly new to crochet and wanted some guidance on how to add the accent colors and carry the yarn along. Love your clear instructions!

If I had kept taking my ANASTRAZOLE I might’ve still been cancer free, but it came back with a vengeance, but I had people praying for me. I was praying for me for myself and others and then I walked into Texas Oncology (yeah, I live in Texas now on the Austin/Manchaca border in South Austin I have one daughter who takes care of me along with her wife and their roommate so they live in the next building where I have an apartment I noticed you hadn’t posted anything in a year so I was wondering if you were sick also but I just listen to you and you said you were. I hope you’re feeling better and I look forward to your MAL’s and wip’s. I love that neon show you have posted on your website. I’m gonna follow how to make it so I could give it to a friend of mine for Halloween so you take care of yourself in Alabama. I never liked the allergies. I was an ER doctor. But I had to stop practicing because my chemotherapy gave me bad hhand tremors.

Bless you for making this tutorial! I am an accomplished crocheter and frogged twice by just following this inept pattern that I too plucked off the yarn display and was so excited to make! It became apparent to me that the sides mirror each other and that they weren’t coming out right because I wasn’t using the chain two as a stitch even though that little nagging voice kept telling me to, the stubborn side of me wanted to not count it 😂Lol. I’m glad that you confirmed it for me and it’s also nice to know that someone else felt a bit muddled when reading this pattern. Anyway.. now I’m subscribed to your channel!! Thank you again! 😊😊😊

This is gorgeous but I’m struggling with row 40. I’m getting 72 ch4 spaces!! Also on row 9, in the middle it says (1dc,ch2,1dc) and I’m wondering if it should say 2dc,ch2,3dc. I’d appreciate a response as soon as you can. I’ve redone row 40 4 times and still get 72 ch4 spaces. Row 39 I DO have 74-4dc,ch2,4dc spaces! Thanks!!

I finished this beautiful shawl thanks to this tutorial. I tried working the pattern from Hobby Lobby and almost gave up because the pattern had horrible instructions! Then I found your tutorial. Thank you so so much! It turned out just like the picture on the Hobby Lobby pattern! I can't believe they give out patterns with so many mistakes and bad instructions!

Purty. I made s real small one once. If I live long enough to get to it , I wanna make a big envelope like that. I will add to the middle front of it so stuff won't fall out easy. I think this would make a great satchel! I would also line the inside.
