    Classic Seymour trails good testing spot for new wheels. Had Nobl Tr33's 6-7yrs ago, transformed the handling of my lightish Trek Remedy. Much snapier and more precise steering and handling. Loved the quiet Onyx hubs. Ffwd now on I9 1to1 Enduro wheels which are fine, but eyeing a set of TR35s for medium duty shore and squamish riding or TR36. TR37 look great but no real weight advantage over Alu and dont huck more than 4-5ft anymore. LOVE the Conti Kryptotal and Xynotal tire combo. Soo grippy, supportive and long wearing

    I dismantled some Hope brakes that I inherited but weren't working. I cleaned them up, put new seals in (exactly as they were before), but now everything is together, the brake lever does not push any liquid through? Nothing leaves the reservoir, but the small hole is not blocked? Any idea what has gone wrong?

    Thanks so much for this vid. I'm gonna do a full service and bleed today I think. But I'm confused about your issue in the first 30 seconds. The pads fell out or broke or something? They're super burly and the cotter pin both screws in and has wire stop. I've actually lost the wire stop thing and just used a touch of blue thread locker on one of my brakes. Still solid as a rock.

    Way beefier but with holes to make it lighter.. well, Yeah cool design but would carry a regular crank arm because of weight. Not an XC rider crazy about weight but still; they found out they needed to beef it more... at this iteration the holes are just a design choice because for lightweight they already saw that wont happen

    • @Frorideism

      @@DandyHippo Ok so two things I noticed with the bike so far: There's a lot of pedal kickback unfortunately, this annoyed me quite a lot and made things feel way more rough than they should. I actually bought an O-chain device to get rid of the kickback and it's riding like a chainless bike now, crazily smooth over rough terrain. The other thing is that I noticed is that I needed to set my suspension to quite //Stiff//. As in so that the bike rides high/early in the travel, with around 20-25% sag instead of 30%. Riding in the top end of the stroke, way more subtle and sensitive than if you're eating up that travel having to deal with small bump sens deeper in the stroke. The ochain is a bit costly to be honest, But they V1 versions are on discount since they released a new version. I found it worth it, but it's a lot of cash regardless.

    • @DandyHippo
      @DandyHippo 2 місяці тому

      @@Frorideism I feel like kickback or not my problems exist because the axle of the suspension is vertical and as a geometric solution the tyee has a lousy platform. Also my first carbon bike and gets throwed around in the rocks more because less weight and more rigidity plus the lousy platform but yea I had a good day riding park today, just when theres rocks it turns into a hard mess. Compared to a 2020 Dune R which has an insanely good platform its just so different and cant believe this has been "enduro bike of the year". Some people dont care about small bump sensitivity. Riding smooth bikepark very enjoyable, enduro okay, small rock/bumpy trails no. If I have a better and cheaper bike I'm not gonna spend a dime on this anymore, just gonna sell it and enjoy the good things it had to offer. Commencals and Mondrakers have great platforms in my opinion. Thanks for the info man, appreciated 🤙🏽
