I drink 10 beer during a day about 3 days a week during the days when i don't work. I watch youtube videos, play retro games. It's a way for me to unwind.

Johnny Red tastes like car-keys and is probably the worst Scotch you can buy. Luckily he dived into Johnny Black which is tolerable and cheap. Red back then probably cost a shilling a bottle (you'd get the shilling from the chemist, not you paying for the swill varnish). Still, the amount of Johnny Red, taste notwithstanding, is meager when splashed with soda. 1/4th a bottle is nothing. I would consider him an "average" drinker compared to a Frenchman at the time.

90% of major leaders in history were functional alcoholics. Water was usually not safe in ancient time so they had beer and wine and mead and other types of alcohol because it was safe. Also, most people on power were either young or middle aged, so it was just a bunch of drunk 40 year olds and 20 year olds fucking each other up and getting shit done.
