The original Ghostbusters was a great film and made a huge cultural impact, but as a film series it's poor. Sequels which have only got progressively worse, and a terrible remake from 2016.

The versions of the turtles in this movie were different from the ones I grew up with, but the core of the characters and what made them iconic was still there. Even Super Fly was a pretty good villain. Overall it was pretty endearing, and fun! So I had a good time with it. Great review

Disney made all the gritty Marvel content too, but they licensed it to Netflix. They used to make these shows through their ABC studios (Marvel Television). They just wanted that to be far from the Disney brand "family content". This show will launch Marvel Spotlight, new banner under Marvel that's R-rated and doesin require the MCU timeline.

I can't wait to see this adaptation, but i'm worried about the episodes because I'm not sure if they can adapt the story well with only 8 of them.

Rocky and Kat still had their powers during this, they just never had DINO powers. Rocky had Thunder and Ninja powers and Kat just had ninja powers. They could both still morph into the original red and pink suits but it was a different power set for the suits. They wouldn't be able to summon the Dino Zords with the powers they already had. All past rangers got their powers back in the Legacy War, that's why you see Rocky morph into the original red ranger in the Ninja Steel special, because he had the original red ranger ninja powers.
