40KVA Single Head Electrical Upsetter with 240Ton Press and Robot Loading/Unloading
Electrical upsetting process is used for the manufacture of flanged components from bar stock materials. The heating property of electric current is made use of for localized heating of the bar to red hot plastic condition and then under the application of an axial upsetting force the heated portion gets deformed into a bulb shape which can be immediately forged to get the required shape. A high density electric current at very low voltage is used in this process. These machines are widely used in Engine valve Industry.
