Yep, that's the case for the class on this boss. It's not just you, this one is easily our worst boss this tier in terms of output. Your job should be to just mainly focus the boss and occasionally cleave off of the bigger adds. In my experience I would hit boss 90% of the time and the worms the other 10%. You can save shadow crash for the small adds but they will likely die quickly. You're correct in not saving burst for them because you will get no value.

Your raid should be split, half for the first soak and half for the next. You may have to pop dispersion to live, but if you have a warlock in your raid, they can place a gate to help you as well. Also an evoker can rescue you

I tried messing around with both, but ultimately went with the m+ build with a few minor changes. If you need more boss damage it's definitely worth running the usual single target + crash build. Is everyone in your group pressing the macro when they need to? Essentially, everyone needs to assign a keybind to the macro and the 5 people that get Volcanic Heart need to press it in order to get their assignment. You can find the macro on the wago page

@@TiloniMariba-hg6gv That's the only way it works. It's a bit clunky at first but very worth it if you can get all 20 people on the same page.

Mythic and Heroic are pretty drastically different so I wouldn't really use that as a comparison. Adds live a lot longer in mythic so you get a lot more damage from them

Appreciate it! Looking back at the logs for this kill I had 705 crit, 5,404 haste, 4,606 mastery, and 2,187 vers. I'm not really sure what the percentage value was at the time but for the important stats I think it was around 30% haste and 15% mastery

In this kill I was still in the previous tier set. The current tier set is pretty much the same % increase as the old tier set in both single target and AoE, which is around 9% single target and 4% AoE. If you're lacking in dps it's more likely due to rotational issues than gear, but it's hard to say for sure.

Sure, although I'm not sure what my secondaries were at the time of this kill. You want to shoot for as much haste and mastery as possible, ideally around 30 to 35% haste and 19% mastery because of diminishing returns. I'm much more geared now and still don't have that yet, but I'm getting close to it at around 438 ilvl.

Much appreciated! I was 425 at the time, still in the previous raid's 4 set. Shadow is a pretty complicated spec but very satisfying once you get better at it, so good choice.

@@Spacegoat_TV Nice bro! I was like 410 when my guild went into heroic last week and pulled like half the dps you did. This is my first tier raiding as a DPS class since TOS in legion. S priest is such a fun spec especially in M+.

Thanks! So with the knock back bombs, you don't need to take those down. They just get dispelled and you're good to go. The other bombs 100% need to be picked up and taken down though. If any go off it's a wipe.

Yogg like you said, and C'thun is the other one I went. Y'shaarj is mostly a single target talent and loses value here due to the constant cleave.
