What radio is your favorite? I had a couple WR120s but they both lasted just a year or two. I'm using Sangean CL-100s now. One is tied into our private radio system to make sure we actually get alerts when we're out lol. It is also hooked into the houses intercom system. I'll go ahead and assume your parents do not want you to have an intercom system, my step dad sure didn't xD For the most part I just have it set to alert us for stuff that is worth being woken up for.

That voice is traumatic. We have that Midland radio at our house and we get severe tornadoes and weather alot because in from Kansas City. It's literally terrifying it sounds like a 45 year old man and it's always at 1 in the morning
