Nicely played! I got a question, I see you have pretty good damage and might uptime in the video and I'm like 90% sure you used Incensed Response, but the build you linked doesn't use it. Am I missing something? Also I love running greatsword/sword sword in a group, you have enough breathing room that you don't need the defense from shield or staff, and the damage output is nuts, but you get rolled if the enemies know who to focus or if you run alone and fight condi/cele builds.
Thanks! And to answer your question the might uptime is gained by concentration from stats/fireworks rune. Make sure to use your facets and not face tank boon rips!
@@xHeyItsLeo yeah I'll probably try to get my boon duration to 37-38% and see what happens. What are the boon rips that I should look out for?

Hi i am on the way back to the game after year and i am really interested in GS herald. Is it still ok to play it or its bad atm ?

Not really, as your biggest weakness is conditions. So, being able to convert even just a few of those to boons by simply tapping glint elite once can help you keep up the pressure against all the pesky cele builds that just spam every button off cd.
This is some of the best rev gameplay ive seen playing against hard ass match ups, great use of utilities dude

Really nice man, why not play greatsword? I personally like s/s better, but i also see people playing greatsword..
Swords are better for single targets. Sword 3 offers better evasion, sword 5 offers more mobility. Also more damage If you can land it. Also sword 4 immobilize is great. Greatswords only advantages are block and cleave.

Learning from your vids, ty! Do you think in sPvP, s/sh is a better swap than staff for maining Greatsword?
I won't lie to you; I'm not the best person to ask about sPvP, as I tend to end up playing duelists in there, so I am not sure which is better. If you intend to run GS I would personally run salvation vindi in sPvP with sw/sw as the swap. I just feel like vindi has a much better kit to enable more consistent pressure with the GS, AND be able to live. But when the shield buffs hit next week that could possibly change, I'm not sure! If there are any rev things you have questions about though, hit me up in game Relentless.5207!

I think GS has a place on herald builds, but I find it clunky and predictable against good players!
@@xHeyItsLeo I have a lot of work trying to pulling out DPS with power builds in general, find myself winning way more with condi herald with ritualist gear, mace/shield and staff for more defense. Kinda a bunker build but I find way easier to mantain dps uptime with it maybe i'm just bad lol
@@Ismalakoi Nahhh man don't worry! Condi Herald was my main for a long time and it's what I learned rev on as a whole before I slowly started playing Power Herald. Cele Herald used to be the king of roaming, but nerf after nerf has left it quite crippled. It's ok in PvP nowadays, but solo roaming on it feels kinda awful for me. But it is always fun to throw back 15 stacks of burning onto a burn guard and just watch them disintegrate before they notice it xD
