Fascinating idea to play this retro game, i wonder what a fight would be like. I definitely can't win a fight as casual player, but making a professional bleed would be a welcome challenge! If i wasn't to busy with other tasks at the weekends to come. 😢 Don't ammo based weapons have a place in online matches? Might i ask for a match to observe as video with all sides using everything with exception of laser weapons? Flamethrower is unlimited to my knowledge, there for noone really runs totally dry. Would be interesting to see you handle ammo relaying mechs. Than it would be after all important to use retreat strategies for resupply runs.

The minefield layers are gold worth in delaying tactics, walking or jumping are both out of the question. When mission time is a factor, it is a legitimate tactical approach. After all, two versus one. Improvisation and creativity as well unpredictable and out of the box thinking, wins the war on the battlefields of the Mechwarrior. The mission outcome sounds like a realistic outcome in the books.

The chat was hilarious to read. Did he in fact - cheated? Cheating in Single player is fine, not so in multi-player.

The Clan mech loadout was terrifying, quitting the battlefield was the only right move, before the match started😂

Damn intensiv battlefield, well fought out tactics. Sooo... why was someone crying about cheats? A game mechanism exploited i guess? To my knowledge as Mechwarrior casual fan, jumpjets are a mobility tactical advantage, just like laser weapons are a tactical advantage for long fought out battles, where ammunition and repair depletion is as legitimate as caving in a mechwarriors pilot cockpit in when hes fallen on his rear.

Damn fine mission, in the end Quantity win over Quality, but only because they both had Clan weapon access. Flanking manovers and a lucky mech stability lost did the Clan side in, bearly a victory, but a victory none the less.

I love this game! I consider myself pretty good at it, especially multiplayer. But I met some extremely good players I learned a lot from too! I wish more online services still supported this game as you can easily still run it on windows 7,8,10 today

EH, Vixen is still mah girl. If I could mod her in and start the game with her, I would. Prolly my favorite MC1 pilot. She just has a cool, calm, bad ass demeanor.
