Thanks theo.... special thanks to you for always helping me out with birds ...also thanks Ali Abbas...if it wasn’t for kind mates i wouldn’t have much going on at all... Not one mongrel in your cage pal....they rival the best birds I’ve seen live and on any site...

Good work Steve. It's unfortunate to see footage of the hawk tarnishing this hobby of ours and how damaging PMV can be. We press on ........

Steve, very entertaining video. Thanks. But you forgot to also mention all the birds we lose in the process of trying to train up that one good spinner. cheers

Forgot to mention the other 32 birds lost to this hideous disease......Everyone , try not to get too attached to your birds... hopefully lesson learnt ..But who knows .... there are many ways of contracting this and other diseases....All we can do is try and minimise the risks...Well into regrouping and flying youngsters again....As the old saying goes...............persistence pays.

No quacking duck, the virus I had was pmv,a very destructive virus that attacks most of the major organs including the brain, once this virus is in your loft you have no choice but to let it run it’s course...which is around six weeks... it’s a progressive disease that goes through the birds ,birds that seem well may show symptoms weeks later then die or be brain affected and unsteady on its feet and have uncontrollable movements,,,some birds recover to go on and recover even breed again but some males become infertile...hope this answers your question... cheers Steve the aussie
